    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    I doubt. I still see some instances of people missing my SCH's Consolation even when I placed the fairy/seraph on dead center relative to all party members' location. I'll still take the change. Nothing infuriates me more than seeing a tank in wall pulls steps outside the sparky star as it detonates, missing the heal entirely.

    I wish they buff Asylum's and Soil's radius though. 10y or 12y is good enough, even.

    It is! I like new Holos, I'm just a bit meh on the rest. For example Haima and Panhaima got a nice potency buff, but the 15s duration is eeeh...

    Tauro and Kera not stacking with each other isn't new btw.

    I think they moved the damage reduction from Pneuma to Holos. So, Pneuma is a raw heal now with damage.

    But they made the shields stronger (I think) on Pan/Haima to make up for the reduced duration.

    They did make the shields stronger, but they also changed how remaining stacks work. In the media tour build, both the shield and the healing from remaining stacks had the same potency, meaning you'd always get the same overall potency no matter what. Now the remaining stacks only heals you for half of the shield potency, so you end up missing potency if you don't consume all 5 stacks.

    With a 15s window, it's quite harder to consume every stack. It makes the skills a bit more interesting though, I'd say.

    edit: to address your other question, yes. They moved the damage reduction to Holos and to compensate Pneuma heals a bit more now.

    I think that's what they wanted. I don't think they want us using it on cooldown, basically. Still, I don't really see why we shouldn't?

    Unsustainable because of MP costs. I mean technically, it's sorta sustainable with toxikon becoming free GCD and E. Diagnosis is cheaper than Adloquium (900 MP), but ... you'd lose the whole advantage of Soteria and Cardia in the first place, so you'd lose healing value in very tight - MP intensive fights. Though I don't think that's an actual problem for most content, so maybe you're right.

    Okay, who is the fool who set up these changes for SCH? A 30 potency boost for Lily is nice, but did we really need:

    40 potency nerf on Whispering Dawn
    100 potency nerf on Fey Union
    30 potency nerf on Fey Blessing
    20 potency nerf on Seraphic Veil
    50 potency nerf on Consolation

    Lily is now worse in the abilities department in return for better Embrace. That is not a good tradeoff.
