There are worse things than your beard problem for 13.50 € / 18 USD where there is "no problem at all" with clipping.
Luckily the long skirt, gloves and heels are nice, because the dress is totally messed up. That's one hell of a pregnant princess dress.

LOL that is why google is everyone's best friend, always do research before you e-shopping.
Beside, it is well known that all outfits created by Korean or China region will have clipping issues.

Say what you will about the gameplay, but Black Desert Online has an amazing policy when it comes to their cash-shop outfits. You can try on outfits beforehand, but even still, I've purchased several outfits that I just didn't end up liking too much once I got them out into the world, and they refunded them with no questions asked....and it was really quick too (within a day). I would loooove for more games to be that flexible with their shops.

Isn't the shop where they make all of their money tho? Of course they want to have good impressions on it so people keep going back

The worst thing is that they never thought it was worth fixing the clipping bugs and the fact that the bottom part of the dress is way too high.

Although fixing this kind of bug would require the game engine to handle clipping. But still, whoever validated this outfit as okey was just opportunistic.

I imagine that most of their income comes from the cash shop as it's a B2P game, but that doesn't excuse XIV's lack of such a policy. Unlike BDO, XIV collects a monthly subscription and has a very profitable cash-shop, but we have no real recourse if we aren't satisfied with an outfit we've purchased. Seems slightly backwards.

I didn't know one could, and still don't know, how to Try On the product before buying.

Edit: I guess I'm supposed to know about all the items in the game, too, because I would have gotten a Dream Cap instead of buying this.
There's actually a photo in the online shop of the item you're buying right there next to the name of it. I mean I get it that it's disappointing to have purchased an item that's not what you thought it would be. But this isn't really Square being deceptive when they include a photo of what it looks like in-game and a description that states it includes the beard.

To be fair, the photo "of the item you're buying" has a character wearing an entire Santa outfit, not just the item. So from the picture alone it isn't immediately apparent what you're buying or that it includes a beard.

The item description is more clear, but the photo definitely isn't.

When you are in the FFXIV online shop and look at the right side to the initial picture that is showcasing the item, you will see the items that you will actually purchase. There, you can hover your mouse over them, and it will show how it would look ingame. And you can see that the cap comes with the beard.
