I only need 5 more cards to reach 300 just to get the achievement card and most of what I am missing are from trials/lv80 dungeons.
It has been almost a week with no drops and been queuing as a white mage for those.

Normally it would be nice having fast queue with healers but I do miss my burst red dps rotations

I Ran Praetorium, with a lallafel, wearing a full bunny costume...he was the tank, and honestly the most intimidating thing I've seen in final fantasy.

You'll see a lot of magical and terrifying things in this game. My favorite has been loading in to a Roegadyn dressed in the chicken head and pig body, all dyed gold.

Speaking of Praetorium, I'm reminded of a time many months back that I queued into CM on GNB and proceeded to full pull everything as normal. This lil sprout DPS was like "whoa!!! What class lets you just pull everything like that?" and man, it was honestly kinda cute. I and a couple other older players explained the usual strat for the MSQ dungeons, that it wasn't one class exclusively that could do it, all tanks could. They still seemed really excited to get GNB unlocked eventually, though - they said the weapon I had looked cool and liked the animations for it.

I hope that sprout's doing okay and living his best GNB dreams now.

    The Curse of Stone Vigil

So I've shared a story or two about Stone Vigil in here, and just about every run I've done there has been tolerable at best. I was messing around on my alt today, doing a few dungeons to level up my Paladin and when I got to the Stone Vigil (which is where I was at, MSQ wise), I decided today was the day I'd get a good Stone Vigil group. Today, I break the curse I have been afflicted with. Spoiler alert: Today was not the day.

First group: Not much to say here. DPS seemed to be decent enough, at least when the Samurai isn't dying and screaming about lag, although the healer really struggled to keep up. I died on the very first pull to a complete absence of healing, although they apologized for that one. I was a bit slower and more careful on the pulls and we struggled to the end in somewhat of a timely manner. Not exactly what I'd call a good run, but at least it wasn't terrible, which is saying something when it comes to Stone Vigil. This, of course, did not satisfy my need for one, just ONE good run, and I decided to queue again...

Second group: I load in and look at the group makeup: a WHM and 2 BLMs. This is it, this is the amazing run I've been waiting for! The WHM will easily keep my holy bum healed up while the 2 BLMs AoE their hearts away! I bravely charge forward, make my usual double pull and tank my heart out! And I tank, and I use CDs, and I tank, and I use more CDs, and I tank, and I'm all out of CDs after carefully cycling through them all, mobs still alive... What is happening?! It is then I notice... the BLMs seem to be casting spells as random, having no concept of rotation, and the WHM isn't using any damage spells. Not only that, but they spam Cure I over and over, fishing for Freecure, while I'm struggling to stay alive, chugging potions. I was the only sprout in that group (being an alt and all), some of them proudly sporting ShB titles. They made no attempt to dodge any of the first boss' breath attacks, although thankfully handled the canons on the second one. The last boss went through 2 phases of the single line breath before we could do enough damage for it to transitions into it's 2 line phase. I didn't even know that could happen...

Group 3: After that slow and painful run, I decided to shelve the tank for the night and pull out my Dragoon for my 3rd and final attempt at one good Stone Vigil run. I queue, zone in and the healer... is a conjurer. A CONJURER. IN STONE VIGIL. At this point I go through the 5 stages of grief, internally crying, screaming, pleading and yet, very much resigned to my fate. Surely... SURELY this couldn't be as bad as my last run, right? ... right?...

The healer is casting Cure II, so they clearly did their WHM quest, just didn't equip their stone for reasons I'll never know. They, of course, aren't doing any DPS because spamming heals on the tank is the only way they can keep 'em alive. The other DPS seems to at least be doing okay (at least, better than the BLMs from earlier) but the tank is... not the sharpest crayon in the box. He pulls unnecessary mobs while insisting on double pulls even though the healer can barely handle singles and has an obsession with LoSing said healer, because they're not struggling enough already. The tank dies to the first boss after taking every breath to the face and the healer proceeds to hard cast raise them while I'm Draggon-tanking the boss, trying my best not to die since our conjurer friend isn't going to heal me. The tank gets back up, doesn't get healed, takes the boss back, gets one-shotted and I'm tanking again. Thankfully the boss dies and we move on... We are now at the second boss and neither the healer nor the ranged DPS are taking care of the canons. So I, the melee DPS, need to run across the entire room every time to click the canons. Wonderful. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. We get to the last corridor before the final boss when the tank asks us to wait for a moment and proceeds to start, very slowly, tinkering his gear around. We stand there for 5 minutes while pieces of gear are swapped on and off and what's left of my sanity exits my body. We then get going again, make it to the last boss and I'm absolutely shocked to report no one died. Still, I ran out of there screaming and logged off for the night, the Curse still going strong.

I don't know what I've done to deserve this

    Do… do you need a hug..? ;-;

Speaking Screaming Vigil, I also had my fair share of bad run 2 days ago via leveling roulette.

Que’d as a WHM, matched with WAR, DRG, and SMN. All of them are sprouts & first timer. I view their search info, showing all came from the same home world. Alright, these bunch are probably friends playing together. Let’s see how they fare….

    • DRG is doing fine overall.
    • SMN had a tendency of pulling the mobs for the tank. The resulting pulls were usually either a bit too large for comfort, or split up into uncomfortably extended pulls without letting the initial pack die off first, thus offering no time for a comfortable MP regen (curse you WHM’s ARR MP recovery!). Regardless we pulled through everything just fine.
    • WAR supposed to win my comm until I see how they deal with the bosses. They really love teaching the boss how to play beyblade and/or kiting the boss with lots and lots of Tomahawks with no regard to the boss’ potential frontal breath attacks (Isgebind).

DRG was struggling to keep up with the ever moving bosses, SMN repeatedly eating frost breath attacks cause they had no idea when to expect the occasion. At 30% and beyond they just decide to tail me faithfully like a duckling (You’re smart there, I’ll give that to you, SMN!)

In that encounter I learnt that Isgebind can fly away to unleash Cauterize three times. That’s just how slow the encounter was.

Comms? I did not remember who, but I definitely didn’t gave it to the WAR…

That's something pretty common with new tank and i dont know why, you dont have any posi and your only job is the keep the boss not in front of your team for 99 % of the content.
Is there an explanation on why so much new tanks just moves around all the time ? I would get moving to dodge the big scary red aoe, but not when nothing happens on screen.
It was really a pain leveling up my drg not so long ago, and when i say new i should say everyone coz any raid 24 is really fun when it comes to boss positionning.

    Do we count Eureka?

Someone runs around Eureka solo spawning and not waiting for anyone with NM's, people asks her to wait and she starts arguing back about oh how great she is and how no one else is pulling their weight and how she spawned them so she doesn't need to wait.
She seems to have been running a tracker too but refused to share it so no one had any idea which were available and which weren't and we were just running around like headless chickens trying to guess which NM's hadn't been spawned yet.

Just a big argument in chat where everyone else in the entire instance tried to explain to her over and over again but she kept repeating the same thing how she had spawned them and that we weren't pulling our weight.
I don't understand these people, maybe take the hint?
This person had the full Eureka gear and Ele armor too so she wasn't new she knew how Eureka worked and was just playing it like a solo game and screwed the whole instance up for everyone else.

Then she had the audacity to accuse me of malding lol.
Which I wasn't, but it's the usual '' hey why are you doing this thing that is obviously wrong? '' and then they respond '' lol y u mad stop crying ''.
Basically any pushback at all equates to '' being mad '' according to these people.

I don't understand how these people work and how they think, all they do is make people hate them.
She could've just been completely quiet and not say anything, it still would've been shitty but the fact that she was arguing back at all and making herself look worse is something I don't get at all.
I dunno if it's reportable but people did say that they were reporting.
But if you intentionally screw the entire instance up for everyone then act like a complete asshat about it then you should at least get a warning imo.

I don't get why people think "haha u mad" is supposed to be a witty comeback. If that was happening to me I would say "yes I am actually, these antics are starting to really bug me". How's that a bad thing?

    *Insert my signature here*

I wasn't even mad tho I was just moreso annoyed and baffled.
There were people in chat wondering what was going on too and why we couldn't spawn anything, and I pointed it out didn't even name or anything I just said '' someone ''.
    Apparently that makes me mad?

It's like you said even if someone is mad then if there is an actual good reason behind it then I dunno why people think it somehow puts them in a good light when they continue that behaviour.
Generally speaking when people get mad at you it's because you did something wrong, and if you intentionally continue doing something wrong then I dunno.
What is the logic there exactly?
She wasn't even acting like it was funny either it seem'd more to me like an ego problem, like she just couldn't admit that she had done something wrong.

I actually recognized her name too from back when I farmed my Pyros weapons, and this was months ago.
She did this back then too I took screenshots of it and compared them it's the same person.

The '' crying '' accusation is weird too.
It's common on forums too when a change happens to a game and you voice your concern or simply have an opinion on it, and people come out of the woodworks to say that you're '' crying about it ''.
Like just because I talk about something they might not care about doesn't mean I am '' crying ''.
