I think legal recognition is a political issue. But legal recognition does not equal whether LGBT people exist. Just because the question is asked and people are wrong, doesn't change the fact that Queer people exist.

So a company being willing to publicly participate at an LGBT event doesn't at least suggest to you that they'd be willing to include LGBT characters? Call it a publicity stunt if you want but I don't believe for a second the company or leadership wouldn't have signed off, which is important.

Not even close.
You're not out of it, you have opinion on society like everyone else. Politic is not something you can dodge if you want.
Unless you have 0 thought on any subject obviously, but your presence here tells me you're not some sort of plant.

" Just because the question is asked and people are wrong"
And here is exactly why you believe it's not political, because you're sure you're right and everyone else that doesn't see stuff like you is wrong so it's not up to debate.

Thanks proving that it's indeed political.

Compagnies especially big ones will do anything that takes little effort and maximise appreciation.
It means nothing, it's publicity to have ppl like you believe that they're on your side and it works.
