Of all tanks, WAR is so ridiculously squishy, making your gear matter even more. I hope you gave the AST your recAnother run of NG+. I’ve reached Malikah’s Hell & for some reason I decided to use DF instead of Trust NPC.
And I half-regretted it: Benefic I AST, trying their best to keep me, the WAR—alive… thankfully the DPSes are stellar awesome & Nascent Flash is a boon.
If Mt.Gulg via Trust make me think twice, I think Mt.Gulg via DF next time will make me think thrice. >_>”
Unfortunately I did not, nor could.
Besides viewing the full length of cutscene (they all left before I can gave any), Benefic I spam would highly likely or definitely killed me if I were tanking with anything but WAR. That low healing output of Benefic I could barely keep up with the incoming damage from the mobs. As a WAR, proper timing of Nascent Flash (learnt at lv76) usage in a wall pull is basically a self-Benediction every 25s. In addition to generic tank's defensive arsenals, this gives more leeway for healers to AoE a few more. But alas that Benefic I button seems to be the only interesting button to that AST, alongside occasional cards and Divination.
Also I was hoping that your whole reply is an attempt to meme, but if you're not, than I apologize for assuming so.
I wish I memed. But maybe its because of my my experience with WAR, both playing WAR and healing, is that their HP just seem to drop quicker compared to other tankjobs. It certainly feels on the bottom of the 4 jobs for me in terms of durability.Unfortunately I did not, nor could.

Yeah, no. I single pull cause I'm a tank scaredy cat and my opinion of randoms in this game is mad low(imagine having huge parts of your kit that you just refuse to use for some reason?). Even single pulling gets me 20ish minute runs when I build up the courage to que as tank. Those sound 100% like trash dps issues
20 minutes is a long time for a dungeon, if you double pulled it would be closer to 15.
Er, pretty sure it's the arrows. I know if anyone said that to me in arrows, I would do everything opposite just to spite them. There's a difference between saying what to do, and saying it in THE. MOST. OBNOXIOUS. WAY. POSSIBLE.cure 1 fisher's and medica 1 users are one and the same. especially those who tell you you're annoying when you ask them to use medica 2 instead of medica 1 lol.
mans had the nerve to complain about a w2w being hard when he cast cure 1 every like 15 seconds and tank had to clemency. yeah, a w2w in holminster switch is going to be hard if you, y'know, use one of the lowest potency spells at your arsenal and don't even try.
...It IS annoying.
Name Meaning:
Nekaru = Neko + Hikaru
Infitima = Infinity + Ultima
So someone using an auto-translate feature to be perfectly clear about what is needed, in any of the game's supported languages, is enough to make you act like a child just because you take it as some form of passive aggression?
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but honestly? Grow up lol.

I was in Brayflox and our ninja used lb2 on the boss that goes away (the final boss, but in the second-to-last boss) and when I asked him why, he got very defensive and cussed me out, stating that I didn't know how to play the game and that I wouldnt know how to actually play melee.
Here I am, a year later, just wrapped up the eden raids on my NIN, wonder how he's doing.
I had a similar initial thought, and for the first message they put out that could be a fair assumption, but after the healer responds in (relatively) plain English, it seems obvious that they disagreed with the advice rather than failed to understand it.
Lv77 Dungeon Malikah's Well
Party was: Tank (DRK), Healer (WHM), DPS (BLM) and myself (NIN).
The tank took it slowly with single pulls. I didnt mind. He had the augmented lv70 gear (ilv400) so maybe he thought he wasnt prepared enough.
Then a bit after the first boss he asked the healer if he was new to healing. The healer said no. From my point of view the healer was doing good, he even used holy on trash.
Then the fun began at the endboss. The tank took every single laser mechanic to the face. The last laser killed him with 4 vuln stacks.
The healer tried his best to keep me, the new tank, alive while raising the tank. Tank got up again but never provoked. So i died, followed by the healer and the BLM.
After the wipe the tank blamed the healer for not healing enough. After we corrected him he kept quiet and we finished the run.
Gave my comm to the healer

Some people seem confused, so I'm just gonna add: the auto-translate function is definitely very helpful for getting across things to people who speak different (but supported) languages, but it is also useful when you cannot type quickly but need to get something across. You start typing something, you hit tab, you choose the word or words that you want and hit enter, repeat a few times and you have what is sort of a sentence. It's like an auto-complete with limited options.
It just... also has the arrows to indicate it's auto-translated.
