Make sure I've played all the level 80 job quests

Make inventory space by clearing out all the crafting junk I've hoarded for too long

Play FFIV so I'll get any references

Aspire to be up to date with real-world tasks that I will probably ignore...

I've been pushing through Final Fantasy 8, which I'd never played to completion before. The game is weird as hell, and the story is... inconsistent and strange, but I've been enjoying certain aspects of it.

SWTOR is very... dated and I wouldn't recommend playing it unless you're subbed.

7.0 is supposed to change a lot but as of now it's just not all that good compared to FF14.

Grind Zodiac/Anima weapon materials.


Zodiac requires a lot of steps and costs a lot of gil, while Anima weapon is mainly poetic-tome gated. I combine some overlapping steps of some quests to save time. Having a BLU to speed run unsynced dungeons helps a lot for Zodiac series in the penultimate step is a great help.


For Poetic, daily roulette and a lot of hunt trains. Overflowing nuts are converting to gear then to GC seals for Anima/Zodiac materials, or for desynth.

Recently ran Eureka enough to get either the glowy Maiming Top or the Healer Top, gonna sit on those mats until 90 and decide then.

other than that, my usual end of expansion picking out a new glam for the jobs im going to take to cap and selling out all my old battle materia im not going to need any more
followed by struggling to acquire replacements because what I thought looked good turned out not to look good after all due to preview pictures not showing what it looks from the side (eg during cutscenes)

Though this time I'm not sure whether or not to make a healer glamour given the media tour build. Depends if they make sage an actual healer/damage synergistic job or keep it as the media tour as a clone of the disappointment that is 5.0 sch but with a fixed embrace. sorry kardia.


Got drg done and gnb done, just got rdm and dnc to do. And a healer if I do pick up sage.
really hope we get some actual metal armour for casters/healers in EW
