Women can have muscle and still have a feminine figure. These things do not exclude each other. However, roided out rectangle is a niche within a niche within a niche.

There's also the fact that clothing aesthetics are a thing, and not everything looks good on ever body shape. Everything for females in this game is made to look good on Middies, first and foremost (and sometimes Lala), and since every female generally looks like a middie female it's not a problem for most. Femroe are a stand-out in this respect as they're masculine shaped af regardless of big boobs ... so it's no wonder that many things that are feminine look bad on a "roided out rectangle" like them.

Now ... imagine that roided rectangle but hunched over with a cat head. It blows my mind that much of this seemed to be started because of people thinking that's acceptable.

Females Roes suffer the most from the thighs and booty treatment with all races. The muscle just makes it worse for many ppl imo.

Hrothgar are a niche race, so it makes sense for SE to make sure the females make sense with the race (as bestial as males). It doesn't make sense to me to just make them Miqo'te 2.0 (or Roegadyn 2.0, if people keep bringing that "Rule 63 Kimahri" fanart up).

Whether it'll be popular or not is irrelevant, as there is a market for the more bestial appearance (present in this very thread).

I think the roegadyn is used to guive an idea, just like male hrothgar's body looks like a Roegadyn body, so i expect females to get a similar treatment. Male viera are almost identical to midlanders as well only the head is really different.

Oh when I bring up the Kimahri rule 63 fanart, I am saying that that is basically a blue Roegadyn (mostly human face not too different from the Hellsguard Roegadyn. Hands and feet in that art might as well be erased as well due to the way FFXIV is; human-like hands/feet only. Nothing fancy like claws, toe-beans, monster rabbit feet, etc).

It's why I know femroe bodies look awful. They look terrible in just about every single outfit piece you can possibly find. They kind of look good in armor, I suppose. Femhroth would look equally as terrible as femroe in most outfits, if they actually were going to utilize that body, and actually even worse if they were hunched over. Fortunately, what little we have seen of femhroth art, shows them with a more hourglass shape, and slimmer than femroe. So, it's unlikely we will get something like that. For that matter, I've always thought Roes in general looked terrible, like male roes too I mean. I think male hroth should have been more thin as well, but they do appeal to a certain niche.

Could be the frame of fem roe but with way better proportions, no? (muscular, but hour glass shape) just like Viera are better Elezen and thus more popular.

That's why people are suggesting female Highlander for the base, as they already kind of do that.

That's why people are suggesting female Highlander for the base, as they already kind of do that.

I think highlander is still a bit too lithe for hrothgals tho, a little too streamlined. (They look more like swimmers than someone who can tear logs in half with their bear -er- lion hands) You can have bulk without being boxy, just have to focus on round shapes. (More bodyfat on top of the muscles like most functionally strong women are built)
Femroe base is a good starting point where the waist and shoulders are good, but theyd just have to enthiccen the hips, bum, and thighs to get that strong hourglass shape.
