So says the devs, point me out 1 thing in casual play that do requires it, you can't answer it because even in high end content you do not need it.
Invincible moves are used to cheese or make fights easier, but nothing in the actual game requires you to invu anything or it fails.
It's the magic cards that devs gives either for raiders to cheese stuff or casual to not die where they should not die anyway.
Crying about something that is bonus and even more wont change anything in any content if they're all deleted is truly amusing.

Nothing in the game requires Raise either but I'm sure glad it exists, even in casual content.

LD is definitely the worst of the four invulns, but it essentially performs the same as the others in high end content where you can expect to drop to 0 or 1 and expect a full heal. Raid tanks don't see it as a downside because they play with raid healers.

LD can get you punished if your healer isn't paying attention or doesn't expect a use of LD. This mainly happens in regular roulette content. None of the other invulns have this problem, but this problem has existed from the get go... so nothing new to say about it.

I've lived through plenty of fights in regular dungeons using my invulns. The first wallpull in Holminster before anyone had gear was regularly invulned. When a healer dies I have lived to clear a boss using my invuln. It is a valid tool for getting by when things don't go according to plan. It's not just a raid tool to respond to a raid script.

I like it. I don't know why. I like the story twist in the end. I felt it that something is wrong with Fray.

    And here is it:

    Cheers

Because it's our character essentially being...a character. Instead of this stoic individual we just play as, we get an actual look at the mental state of the WoL, how all the events are effecting them personally. Considering the questline starts in the HW expansion, which is the first time the player character actually has dialogue choices in the game, it's also a showing of how the WoL finally has started having enough of being quiet all the time and starts giving their own opinions on things. Essentially the doormat has had enough of this crap, and is finally letting you know how they really feel.

It helps that HW is also when they started giving the player more dialogue choices and having us emote more in cutscenes, instead of just the old blank looks and stoic nods.

Which was part of my problem with it. The entire rest of the game had the WoL as a sort of blank slate where you decide for yourself how you feel about various things. Then along come the DRK quests which said "No, really you felt like this the whole time." It was super weird and out of place and completely at odds with how I actually felt.

Remember, ARR had NO dialogue options whatsoever prior to HW's launch, with players annoyed at fetch quests, annoyed that they couldn't tell people off, annoyed that they just played some doormat. Then suddenly HW comes, and DRK 30-50 questline is the literal embodiment of all of that. WoL is annoyed with the fetch quests, annoyed at people and starts telling them off, annoyed and tired of being a doormat. It's essentially airing out our inner problems, and was the most relatable questline to date, while also showing that yes, the WoL DOES have feelings and DOES seriously have problems with everything going on. The HW dialogue choices show this in spades, with you being able to be snarky, vengeful, and at a point where you can start telling people off, things you never did prior to that (and all of which feeling like Fray is saying it).

Since it could be considered canonical that the DRK questline happens before the bulk of HW happens, every dialogue choice after that is essentially the WoL actually having opened up from coming to terms in the DRK questline and realizing they need to stop just being silent and actually give their opinion on everything.

The DRK questline is actually nice because anyone can relate to being relegated to be an errand boy/girl and being annoyed at it. For example the old Titan looong chain quest i dont think any character would say "Man i love being their gopher traveling back and forth and battling creatures to bring some adventurers i barely know some cheese, rare wine and any other extremely hard to get product they want to feast on later".

The WoL is (more or less depending of your choices, since they actually started to give quite a few array of options and you can be quite "gray" so to speak) a good person at their core but they are not stupid and theres a difference between helping someone and being clearly taked advantage of something anyone will be pissed off, or being wary of certain situations if something bad happened before on a similar one

If you wanna RP that your character is an evil jerk of course you can do it, but then you will have to differentiate the WoL persona from your MC custom persona that clearly clashes with the story narrative, because for example some psychopatic mass murderer cant be the MC of the official story no matter how much mental gymnastics you do
