Is the hunch that bad though? I mean it's not like they're like Worgen or Charr who are inches from being on all 4. I just changed the cpose to one of the ones standing straight, so the hunch is really only there when running and...we...do hunch a little when running so....

True, true and i‘d say, even tho I don’t personally like hunching, it probably would make more sense designing them more akin to their male counterpart and give them a hunched back. I‘d still love to see improvements to the character creation in the future, so that both sides could be eventually pleased. The CC is just so limiting, it hurts lol!

I don't know why this is such a huge debate, Miqo'te already exist (and, really, in most other MMOs Miqo'te would be female Hrothgar) so what would be the point of adding Miqo'te again..? They've committed to adding Hrothgar despite the cat people niche already being covered, so they may as well see that through.

They said the moment Hrothgar were announced that they were made to fill a niche, and I don't have any doubts that this is the direction they will take F Hrothgar as well.

I'm hopeful that SE will stick to their guns, but to not have a doubt? Man, I've been burned before.


All we can hope for is for female hrothgar to not get focus group tested into obwivion

Whats really weird is The Viera thread gets all this support saying "Oh yeah, if people are asking for it, then its totally valid". But then here we are with the Furry Race; Hrothgar, and now its all "Wasted Resources" Its rather curious.

Nah, there was plenty of that in the male viera thread, too. And some in the original viera thread.
For a long time, I requested male viera look like the cute and small concept or the taller bishounen and slim looking concept art - either one would have been fine with me. And I've also made a suggestion to make them a little shorter than the females, which also received a lot of push back. One of the arguments people would use is that it was too "niche", and that it would be better if male viera were taller than the females, buffer, and ~classically handsome~ instead of bishounen or kind of kpop-ish.

I don't mean any disrespect to people who wanted them taller because they just preferred it that way - that's totally fine. But there were some people who kept arguing it was too niche and "diversity for diversity's sake", which I thought was silly.

I think people were sometimes pretty nasty on both sides tho.
I‘m glad the way they are designed, you can still be pretty tall(taller than hyur and miqote). We basically have something different with females being a tad bit taller, reflecting real bunny characteristics but still not too small(kind of respecting their lore). I think that‘s a nice compromise.
