Hmmm alot of the healers is either leveling other jobs, crafting, getting relic from bozjan etc

In my fc im kinda their pocket healer, so i dont often venture out , cause we always just burn through dailies as a group, which what majority of the healers do

And as someone else pointed, i also dont need tomestones and legit just waiting for endwalker to come out like every other healer ingame is doing atm

Or we legit playing other games whilst waiting xD

Adventurer in Need is weird cause sometimes you switch to a dps, tank, or healer to fulfill the need and end up waiting ten minutes. The way it updates slowly means sometimes you're no longer truly in need anymore so I don't trust it all. I seem to instant queue as healer more often than anything no matter what it shows is actually in need.

I love healer job. I have a new astro and the older whm. Healer job start to be interestingly annoying when a tank absolutely refuse to use any mitigation on all mob/trash. They're just come to run as quickly as possible. Some of them don't use even their stance. I disagree with that sentence healer is boring. No, it isn't. Player make the job boring or annoying.

You shouldn't have to rely on your team being awful in order to have fun with a role.

As a healer main...healing is too boring now.

There's just a mismatch in design that results inevitable boredom the best you get at being a healer.

The jobs are designed to be more healing focused and less DPS focused.
The encounters are designed to be more DPS focused and less healing focused.

So most of the time we're DPSing with DPS tools that are inadequate.
And when we do heal, we have more tools at our disposal than we need.

The devs won't change this because they want it to be more approachable for less skilled players, which is fair but have taken away from and have not given back to experienced players.
They acknowledge the problem but have chosen the hardest path for resolution, despite us offering and asking for the easier path for them, which is to make encounters more healing intensive where it matters and fill the downtime with a better DPS set. But they won't take this path because so many people pressure people to DPS as healers...so they want to keep this as simple as possible. And the path they've chosen sadly does nothing for solo content/duties. And they've yet to achieve their alleged end goal...

...I'm only holding out on the stat squish and the new content giving us a higher healing requirement to have us get more out of the healing tools we have. I think chances are I'm going to do MSQ on DNC like I did for ShB and then see how I feel about healing. I see some steps in the right direction, but I'm not sure they'll be enough.

That’s sorta just an MMO thing. Vast majority of the playerbase generally find tanking/healing scary, difficult, or too much responsibility.

Tanking has more appeal with 4 different tanks and GNB seemingly being a little more attractive.

Healers only have 3 jobs to play as with…very niche aesthetic and playstyle. So, it’s going to be naturally unpopular.

But honestly, that’s nothing new to any MMO.

It´s all about the design around it and i wouldn´t even call any DPS more popular than healer / tanks next to SAM and DNC for obvious reasons. (Easy free carry)
I know some MMORPG where tanks and healer are fun to play and popular because of it.
Tanks and healer are just braindead to play in FF14, if anything that´s the core reason noone want to play them. While indeed some ppl are like "Oh no, so much pressure on me.", the most got tired from "1 button spam" or "undying 123". But the most DPS aren´t better in their core in comparison... just 123, pew pew, left-right. Imo healer is still the most enjoyable class when things go nuts. But if the most players do well??? Yeah, then you see the big hole of a laughable class-design and scripted boss mechanics across the board.

SE´s class development team is just bad and follows (if that´s even the case) wrong feedback from some "aesthetic-gamers".

Daily roulette is boring as a healer? Say what?

I would love to be in a group when I am not stressed keeping people alive who take every single AE.

I am curious why is that.
    Any clue anyone ?
    Thanks for the hints.
    Real answer?

Because there are TEN dps classes,

FOUR tank classes (the second most likely "adventurer in need,")

and THREE healer classes... Which will soon change and queue expectations along with it. I imagine we will soon see tanks being the "adventurer in need" for the next several months more consistently than healers.

Months? The Sage hype will die out within days.
