100%, even splitting old stuff to be glamoured to Disciples of War and Magic would go so very far towards allowing really cool and interesting combinations.

The best part is SE already happily mixes and matches for NPCs. Why not let them wear aiming, healing/casting, and melee gear all at once ~
Oh, but players? No no no, absolutely not, can't have players doing that.

More is always better in terms of glamour. Though I think I would rather them work on increasing our storage space for glamours before increasing what's available for healers. The way I see things is if I have to pitch something I already have to make room for something I want, then it's not increasing anything. That just means I'm trading one glamour choice for another.
Yes! We have so little space for glamours. The time i spent deciding what glamour to drop to make room for new one.More is always better in terms of glamour. In darkness, in cold, in the midst of winter where nothing walks the world but death and fear let the brave rejoice: I call the light.
Out of darkness, light. Ouf of silence, song. Ouf of the sun´s death, the birth of each year. Out of cold, fire. Out of death, life. Out of fear, courage to see the day. (Elizabeth Moon - The Deed of Paksenarrion)

you guys are having trouble with glamour space yet last night i spent an hour trying to find one dragoon hand armour that didnt have stupid elbow bits and was dyable.
seriously how do you end up with more than 200 slots filled?
in any case, allowing more glamour from other roles would be better first as that can cut down on certain pieces that are identical but different jobs mean you need different ones thereby wasting space. Want that nice suit of dragoon armour on your tank as well as your dragoon? nope, go get that tank version.

After dabbling with my glamour dresser last night, I'm slightly comforted the fact that at least we healers gets the funky cap with microphone + can be /visor'ed (The Healers' ShB PvP Head glamour). I think for now it's one of the few unique piece, exclusive for healer role.
Varied reasons.
Some players (myself included) enjoy dressing up multiple jobs even though we don't even main those other jobs. I do this almost everyday, i.e. regularly making new plates and/or revising existing glam plates. That alone already take up good portion of the glamour dresser slots, of which you also mentioned there. One of the biggest offender in my glamour dresser are the Eden & Ronkan accessories (and some other lv70+ accessories) being tied to certain role instead of staying as "All Classes" like those lv60 and lower accessories. I have to eat 4-5 times as much as slots just so I can have those accessories available for all roles, it's almost obnoxious.
And then there's the terrible loot system from capstone dungeon. Saw something interesting drops? Now I'm inclined to keep said piece even more despite not knowing for sure whether I'll use it or not (I actually do, mostly), because I won't know if this piece will ever drop again for me or not. I mean yes they will, but it's not guaranteed!Alliance Raid loots are no better than this either.

I get the jobs each having separate glam plates, im wishing for more myself even though I've saved two through not healing at all since 5.1, but thats unrelated in this case to glam dresser slots. After dabbling with my glamour dresser last night, I'm slight comforted the fact that at least we healers gets the funky cap with microphone + can be /visor'ed (The Healers' ShB PvP Head glamour). and since I don't really pick up earrings being an au ra most of them just get stuck in my horns (though yoshida did mention fixing this) I guess that's a category I never really filled, same with off hand, i dont use shields as a paladin since I dislike how they all float.
Not sure why I didn't think of the capstone dungeon and alliance raids though, it took me forever to get the yorha 51 casting chest and I ran ghimlyt 8 times last night in vain trying to get the drg hands (it being one of the few armoured gauntlets without oversized elbow plates)

Are you constantly using those pieces in glamours or are they just "ready to use"? I'd personally consider them low priority since you can try them on any time by visiting Eulmore (and also can try on things not designated for your class, so you just need one version on hand to save the trip) and you just need to keep some hunt currency and tokens on hand to exchange for the piece you need.
I mean sure, but presumably allowing more classes to glamor more of the same items is less technically taxing than the requirements for storage space in the dresser, which they've consistently said is quite difficult.More is always better in terms of glamour. You're not wrong, but for the players who have maxed out their inventories, this doesn't help them. And the more gear that is released into the game only strains them further with having to make choice after choice of what to get rid of to make room for something new. It is also very time consuming. The only way to benefit all players is to increase the storage capacity, which is likely why the glamour system hasn't been expanded on in years. If they can't figure out a way where everyone wins, then there is only one alternative left if they still want to be fair to everyone.

Alliance Raid loots are no better than this either.
