Healer Glamour

Another thread on the forum is touching on healer glam via the gendered (or not) animations and AF gear of some jobs, but I was surprised by how many people wanted more of the same, while my friends and I wanted more variety for healer glamour on XIV.

I'm always reserved about taking parts of forums where the people who don't actually use those classes post so...

What do the people of the Healer sub-forum think?

I don't personally like Healer glam being so often Priest robes, Frills and Wraps and would prefer other stuff more in line with the DPS caster's variety and maybe the odd Doctor's coat (ALC glam should be classless pls) into the mix. But do most healers agree that it's too one-note or that it's fine and I should shut up?

As a Hrothgar, I would like more future clothing to have tail holes rather than having my tail awkwardly clip through robes or capes; it's distracting and limits how many options I want to choose between.

I would prefer more masculine or gender neutral glams because I like the look on my lala. I would like more coats, pants, cool masks and helmets (or more massive hats), and armour for healers.

god, yes. I'm so tired of generic and unremarkable robes, meanwhile the magic DPS get such cool and sleek outfits. I want *those*.

I currently have Paglth'an gear equipped for many of my job roles; it looks really nice, particularly for caster, healer, tank, and dragoon roles. And a flower bouquet for the head component!

I'm definitely pretty tired of robes. Not that it's bad to have some, but, we have a vast wardrobe of them to choose from, we'd do fine if SE never added more again.

To SE's credit, they've diversified a bit since the last time these complaints reared their heads. But... still not really that much.

To be fair to them, the introduction of Sage has given me a little hope that they're going to diversify a little more.
And they've put in a couple of differently themed outfits in this expansion. Less than I'd want for sure, but credit where credit is due.

I'd personally kill for s'more lightly armoured tunics, or sleeveless coats sort of similar to the Dreadwyrm Cyclas.

More variety is always good. Raid healer sets have on average always been rather bland and boring IMHO.
