Yeah. Personally, I'm not expecting those top 100 rewards to make a return, at least not in their original form, though it'd still be nice. Recolors, however, are a good possibility in my opinion. It would allow those who earned them to enjoy their prestige while allowing others to enjoy the appearances.

I'm not really sure how they could do recolors - they already provided two colorations of each armor set (one with silver trim and one with gold trim), and the armor is all dyeable. As for the mounts, they've provided all of the colorations that I think we've seen in the game thus far from enemy NPCs except for the Dreadnaught from the most recent Season 20 (although I don't think I've seen a different coloration of that in the game anyway).

As i previously stated, it was just a missunderstanding on my side, i even edited my first post but the thread is still going. The Items they talk about are achievementsstuff and Tierrewards, not old Top 100 Rewards. I got reminded that he said in a japanese interview that old SEASONAL Feast rewards will never come back. He even said that he thinks that it is important for a MMO to have such special items.

So everything is fine, for me at least. Just let the thread die now please^^

I think players would be fine if they gave undyable gearsets as rewards. Could never stomach top 100 player rewards in content I'm not fond of with a high population data center. That said I do see it from the top 100 perspective that if it was more obtainable it would become less special and make all the time and work they put into PvP become completely pointless.

Those gearsets are badass as fuck though.

We don't know how many tokens those old feast rewards will take, it might take the entire series worth for one thing.. it might not. Regardless, if they did the entire lot and got all then tokens to get the rewards asap they did work for it? They just didn't suffer a toxic environment to do so. There are plenty lovely pvpers but when you put x thing behind a rank and other people can get in your way of getting it? You are gonna breed toxic behaviour, this is much more healthy for players mental and community than top 100 ever was or will be. Top ten per DATA CENTRE?! I never said I want people to participate in the Feast nor have I ever done so. Let alone made it anywhere near top 100. The reason I agreed with my response concering the poster I quoted is that they had to work hard to get it. I like working for my rewards because you own nothing in this game and never had. However, you do keep memories and even discipline to an extend when you farm for something. I learned an aspect of patience in this game.

You guys are so extreme, it's easy to see why these forums have a bad reputation. Sometimes people here don't even read posts for context. I wanted the rewards if anything to be earned with wolf marks, let's say 15k-20k each piece. And contrary to your lazy opinion, working is the default state of nature. If you truly believe you are deserving of anything while only moving your small finger, it only goes to show your own entitlement.

Again, I'm all for these items to be available because I do not have them myself. I just want to have a bit of things to do for them, that's all.

Everything has a shelf life in an MMO, let's be real. Even the ultimates are easier even with sync lock because of power creep over time. Gunbreaker and Dancer didn't exist then, TP was a thing, etc.

The Eden mount you see around today, you know people cleared the content when relevant. But in 2022 that mount will lose a bit of prestige, just like everything else.

It's just how it is. The chase to the next new shiny thing.

Grinding is what defines the MMORPG Genre as a whole. Removing it, would be like ordering a Hamburger and just requesting the buns and still paying full price.

Any Feast reward that isnt just Wolfcollar weapons, had to be hardly fought for (provided, you arent part of the majority who cheated their way up) very hard. During season 18, when the fancy armor which VanMckan proudly wears, got released first, i had fought 677 Feast Matches only to end up GOLD Rank, despite playing BLM to the best of my abilities every single match.

Am i Salty and Mad about it? You bet i am, but my point is, imagine how far this would go if someone like me wanted to get into Top 100.

I am not suggesting here that everyone here should play 1000 Games of Crystal Conflict for a single Armor set, but having to put a reasonable and still difficult journey for it, would be only fair to those handful few who didnt cheat their way to the top and got the things first.

Or simply give the old feast stuff a new coat of paint/Color palette, a new name but keep the design and call it a day.

You the man. But anyone watching should be able to tell it was vague and open to interpretation. They are leaving some tiny wiggle room to squeeze out from the couple hundred players who would be mad.

He said the same thing with the gobbue back in the day. They also kept reminding people to go get the mount because it would be the only way to get it and that would be their way to show their gratitude for sticking around with the game through a very tough time. Not even a couple of years later, they replaced the carpet on the head of the gobbue with a flower crown and called it a day.

There's plenty of way they could recolor stuff. Most of the gears they had in the rewards already had two variants, doesn't sound too complicated to add a third if they wanted to. For the mounts it's even easier to add one color, they could even just slap a collar on the hell hounds and call it a day.

I'd be really surprised if they don't recycle anything and just add completly new stuff, especially when they have content just sitting there ready to use that almost nobody had a chance to get.
