Personally, this is a post that should have probably been written to him directly (his own platforms like twitch or youtube ?) rather than here. This is probably why it comes off as a bit insincere. Most can empathise with these events, but that's not the problem. Because of his popularity/celebrity status there will always be conflict in deciding how to react. I understand why you would post this, but honestly, this is something best left to that person's personal medias.
I've already explained this I dunno how many times now.
I thought it was very obvious that this was to bring awareness and not directed towards Asmon.
If you'd actually read my OP again with that in mind it should be very obvious.
I linked to his Tweet but not everyone has Twitter and may want to leave it here and pay some respect.

People did the same when Miura died and no one had a problem with it, and people have been gathering ingame in this case too.
It's the same when other people die or suffer loss who have some level of relevance to a community even if it's small, people will talk about it it's not like this is about a Fortnite streamer with no connection to FFXIV.
Even if you just started watching him when he began playing FFXIV shortly after the situation with his mom got worse so you'll be aware of it and the effect it had.
This isn't even getting into the overlap either, I've played FFXIV since ARR and I still watched Asmongold play WoW he's relevant to a lot of us.

If you want to talk about insincerity in regards to celebrity death this is not the thread to do it, that should be common sense to anyone but apparently it isn't.
If you want to talk about it make a thread about it or talk about it in the off topic thread.
Doing it here is just cruel and extremely inappropriate.

Yes, I have played XIV since the beginning of HW and was a long time WoW player myself and also watched Asmongold before he started XIV. Why is this such a specific point to make ?
I was simply proffering some insight, but it's quite obvious this is very close to your heart. Genuinely, I do hope you feel better soon. Death isn't something easy to process.
