I am pretty sure, that if you are kicked for being a troll, and blocking progress, as you said in the other thread, again and again and again, those kicking you would have plenty of justification for doing so if you are being a troll and refusing to do mechanics.

there is a difference between being bad and being a troll. those that try to troll because they think they can get away with it now, I am sure will find that out.

I would be seriously surprised if this affects a majority of people playing, because generally, aside from a forum majority it seems, most people at least treat others decently and have never had a warning or a temp vacation due to actions in game. but feel free to push your luck if you are so inclined....

What it all boils down to is something pretty basic...don't be a jerk. Even the ToS clarifies this, which some posters are conveniently leaving out. You can request that someone do something like, for example, asking for heals if you aren't getting healed enough...so long as it is considered polite by most peoples' reasonable standards.

Gotta love all these alarmist reactions to a ToS change that essentially amounts to: Don't be a jerk. There are people, out there in the real world, who's lives have been completely destroyed because they were accused of a crime they didn't commit, yet you don't see anyone advocate to ban laws altogether. Just because something has the potential of being abused doesn't mean everyone and their grand-mother will do so, thus turning FFXIV into some kind of dystopian nightmare of a game where nobody speaks and trolls rule the PuG world. The report system isn't automated, there's actual people reviewing them and you can get in trouble for making false reports.

If you are capable of acting like a decent human being, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about. If, on the other hand, you believe in your right and priviledge to berate people because you had a bad day at work and others should just 'grow a thicker skin', then... I guess you should be worried? Also, if you're in the latter category, these changes are happening specifically to stop people like you from verbally abusing your fellow players, time to work on that anger management.

See my problem with this is if I'm not willing to take your advice as a suggestion what makes you think I'd listen as a demand. They don't take the advice it's a dead run abandon them move on.
