Again, gonna play devil's advocate. If you can't tell a DPS to do their AoE rotation on mobs, then you can't tell the tanks to use their CD's to survive either. As a tank that does wall to wall pulls and does pick up all the mobs, I could definitely see that same "You pull you tank" person just not using defensives.

The first part I quoted states how different skill levels will skew the perspective of what is and isnt appropriate play. What you can expect in sastasha from a sprout tank is different than what you can expect from someone with all tanks leveled in paglthan.
You definitely can tell a dps to use aoes, the phrasing is important though. "use aoe, you dumbass" will get you bonked, "please use aoes when there are multiple enemies" will not.

Again, you are correct. However, if they don't accept your suggestion, you can't really say anything else. SE specifically says:

"Additionally, making suggestions or requests does not necessarily mean that they must be accepted. When your suggestion/request is rejected, you cannot then criticize or blame others, pressure others or otherwise refuse to respect their opinion, or persistently repeat the same suggestion/request or otherwise attempt to impose your playstyle on others".
