Avoiding Besaiders and Balmung

My friends and me are moving on Balmung by our own will. I have a dear friend who plays there and she told me it's a really nice server. 'nuff said.
I really don't get all the hate. Most of the anti-Besaid players are not even from that server. When I see stuff like this I wonder why I still read those forums.

Am I not free to leave? I only said so and gave my reasons for doing so. Reasons that you may disagree with, we don't have to agree on them. I don't see any harm in that.. the RP'ers here could just say "I disagree" and leave it at that but they instead show themselves as a welcoming community full of good nature people by attacking the crap out of me. Thats why I keep this going.. All I have to do is say.. "Well.. I don't know if all RP'ers are nice. /link/."

Good for you. You have your "reasons" as stupid as they may be. Was it necessary to create this thread which basically attacks an entire server's worth of players, none of whom you've played with in-game?

exactly!!! what he should be posting on is how most of our endgame Ls wont be taking scrubs in but there's plenty of social and rp Ls that you none hard core gamers can go to

Well that is mostly true, but playing devil's advocate here, in my time of MMORPGs I have meet a few A-hole RPers, and my share of A-hole non-RPers as well, but the majority of Rpers are nice.
