So... Scholar became a 1 button DPS job because people were pressing more DPS buttons in the past and not healing, so they made it a 1 button DPS spam job and then design the fights where you're required to press this button 100+ times per fight in order to clear because there's very little that needs to be healed... and you still get upset that people are pressing that 1 button because they can handle everything without using GCD heals?

Does that make sense to you?

No, I'm asking you why did you edit it out of your comment to begin with if it's not an issue? If you don't see an issue with it like you're saying, why not stand by what you said originally instead of editing your post completely?
And yes, I stand by what my original post to you said; your comment didn't make sense. If they don't want healers to be "DPSbots" then they shouldn't design fights to require healers to do DPS. Saying that they didn't want Scholar to be doing DPS, so they removed it's DPS options doesn't pass scrutiny, because every raid in this game wants Scholar and every other healer to be doing damage.

I never said I was wasting my time, I said if you don't want to engage in good faith discussion and just want to fling insults at the drop of the hat, don't bother responding. Clearly, coming to these forums for discussion isn't what you want to do, and instead you want to complain about people you don't like, and gloat and laugh at those who may want different things from the game than you, judging by comments such as "Enjoy crying for more dps button." and your previous one that you edited out completely where you said you were going to enjoy laughing at everyone here asking for DPS options on healers.

I am complaining? I made the post? or do you simply where I said and agree with sweet pete that the mind set of green dps bots on this game is nuts, also you apparently is missing where I say a Dps green bot is just as bad as a healer bot, I said am a Balance bot the type that does heal and dps where one is more a priority over the other, how is that complaining? Did I say I do not like someone...... please find where I say I dont like someone, unless you mean the part where I hate teaming with random co healer green dps bots vs teaming with a co healer friend who I know will do their fair share of balance as well, If that is complaining my apologies lol.

I feel like a broken record saying this almost on every post, but encounter design in FFXIV is made in such a way that only the team's DPS output matters. Even in hardcore content, once you know how to "dance" around the room with the boss, the amount of healing you'll need to do is so trivial that you'll be pressing your one DPS button for 90% of the fight duration. And you HAVE to, because the most difficult fights of the game nowadays all have a DPS check.
I'm all for healers being more focused on healing, but this is how SE have designed their game, and there's nothing we can do about it.

At that point better off bringing like 4 paladins and 4 dps then forgot how broken clem is, I seen a diamond Ex with nothing but a 8 party pld run. I did not say I have a problem with it how people chooses to play healer, I simply said like you said a healer who dps 100 and 0 heals or one that 100 heal and 0 dps is both very terrible and should put a balance of doing both whenever necessary at key points. Also I too am tired of sounding like a broken record too saying that the heal bot term is completely foolish and hypocrite to say (which healer prime job is to heal) but not dear calling the 100% healers who just dps green dps bots. I am a healer main myself so umm not saying healers are toxic am just saying two wrongs makes no right, over dpsing or healing is equally bad.
