Sage won't have as involved of a DPS rotation as Scholar does. In fact, even in Endwalker, Scholar's opener is probably going to stay the most DPS bursty of the four healers. I'm being genuine when I say what I said; Sage looks like it's the exact healer you've been waiting for.
To be fair, I wouldn’t say it’s bursty. It’s more akin to sustained damage considering that we cannot just do Broil IV + ED > Broil IV + ED because ED still has 3s cooldown or we’ll clip. If any it would be something like Broil IV + ED > Broil IV > Broil IV + ED, and so on.

For a main SCH, I’m surprised you’re not even accounting others tools they have in store beside AF related heals like endless fairy embrace, Whispering Dawn, 30 Fae Gauge (from dumping all into Energy Drain), Recitation, Seraph, Illumination into Dissipation, and your co-healer exist. Are you seriously thinking that you’re solo healing in raid encounters? Is your co-healer invisible to you?

There’s -a lot- of fearmongering from trying to justify the oversimplification choir.
