Yeah, I don't understand why it's like this, especially since SCH and WHM can't generate their healing resources outside of combat.
SCH and WHM can get a DPS increase under raid buffs from their healing resources while SGE can't, so this is already a reason. It will probably be patched sooner or later anyway, I think.
The fact that his exists despite the Devs making SCH Aetherflow in combat only shows they want people to go to the new job.
It's a blatant double standard. One that I hope is rectified before expansion release but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
