Looking at bigger pictures on twitter - both males and females have one additional hairut on top of what was available in benchmark. Those are standard haircuts that are currently accessible to other races and don't need to be unlocked, too.

Considering that content in media toures is usually severaly limited, this might (or might not) imply that there're more standard free haircuts to be available on 6.0 release (along with unlockable ones, like ponytail from Gold Saucer).

That's what it looks like, I knew the Modern Aesthetics styles wouldn't show up but I didn't expect we'd see any of the old universal styles on Viera, male or female.

That's great though, looking forward to seeing which ones made the cut.

I fully expect most, if not all, of the earnable hairstyles to work on Viera now. Collecting hairstyles is a major motivating factor for several pieces of content (PvP/Pyros Bunnies/HoH), so it is crappy that certain players are locked out of the rewards.

To be honest, the only thing that lets me on the fence is hairstyles. I don't care about headgear at all, but I really want to have most hairstyles available on my MViera. If they somehow manage to make it, I'll be a bunny boy forever.

Strong odds i just go back to miqo'te because it's been my default for years now, but this will be a fun change of pace. They look so great in motion.
