Love the idea and they could also give us a merchant linkshell that they can send us a tell reporting that an item sold. Something like "you would be pleased to know that the merchandise has a buyer." Then follow with what sold and for how much. That would make retainers more life like. Also let them level up and gain access to a quest that we could do to increase their inventory space.

There was (or still is) certainly a level up system planned for the retainers. They have already Level 1 listed in the retainer list.

Actually I do believe there will be a system to notify you when stuff is sold in 2.0... There was some dev commentary and if i'm not wrong if you look at the concept SS it's right there in the micro-menu. But then again the commentary was a good while ago so I might be wrong

We will get mail in 2.0 to tell us when retainers have made a sale, so at least that's coming.

I don't want to see the gathering suggestion implemented, many of us have worked hard to level out gathering classes, this would be like a slap in the face and I don't think you should get to gather if you aren't actually doing it.

If I had to make some suggesting it would be:-

Move the price history to the retainer side and have it display when you choose an item for transaction.

Add an average price at the bottom of the price history for the last 20 days.

This would speed up the listing of items dramatically
