To be frank, this is what I genuinely feel based after seeing those 'images that should not be named' besides "LoL pHySiCk Is StRoNgEr NoW"
The only exception was only AST's---their new toys caught my attention and frankly speaking I have to admit they are looking more interesting than any other healers', including my favorite SCH. I'm considering to 2nd main AST for my static because of this.
Saddest part was definitely on WHM. They get almost nothing (I mean yes, new stuffs are pretty, but who tf needs that much healings???) and now even eclipsed by the new guy in the town in term of their main spam button.
Speaking of the new guy in town, I also don't understand whenever some players mentions something like "Wow SGE looks cool/incredible, gameplay gonna be much more fun to play than <insert healer>". Almost all of their toolkits are a clone to SCH's and frankly speaking I don't see how I'll be playing SGE 'differently'. All of them just screams "more 1 button spam and ignore healing spell!"-formulae.

I can agree on astro getting really cool new stuff but what takes this joy away is lady and king is rng so you can’t rely on it at all in any situation. Sleeve draw gone and only 1 redraw per card making it really rng if you can actually get astrodyne always every 90 seconds making it also a inconsistent. What makes sage for me interesting is rather that it rewards you for pressing the 1 button atleast. But too be fair if the tank leaks are true then expect drk and a bit gnb you never forced to heal pld and war in dungeons ever again with how much self sustain they get. War just casually getting 2k heal potency ever minute without thrill of battle and if you land always 4 hits also 1,6k heal potency through his raw intuition upgrade and also a 400 potency shield and 20 % dmg reduce for 4 seconds (10 %for 8 seconds).
Oh I'm far too much of a schadenfreude for it to upset me.
It's highly entertaining watching someone gobble down that gruel as if it was a gourmet dinner

It's okay. I can lend you my shoulder. You don't have to fake it. I've seen how hard you tried. You no longer have to. Lot's of people here are of one mind. We all know how you feel. You can let it out. Don't feel shame.
It’s just this place became a place of bitterness after years and years of neglecting us. After the first time you think they just derped when they ignored the healer community and skipped slides. But after all these years they still tread us like 3 grade humans. I mean I wouldn’t feel so bad if they at least talk with the healer community and tell us what vision they have for healer that we don’t understand (and I can assume a lot of people here play healer more active then all of them in the job design team do at this point) and then come in here after a unlucky early leak and nuke all the threads but don’t want to make some time to have a talk about changes and ideas/feedback. Like my static co healer changes from sch only after 5 year in ff 14 to sage because she feels betrayed and left in the dust. The same with me. I was a whitemage main since arr and in stormblood my ape brain realized after some time that white is just the inferior version to astro in every single way. And astro atleast has some identity even after the card change and lore cripple move they made. I just despise this wow job design approach, not everything needs to be easy and brain dead to be accessible and every healer can be easy to play early and new player friendly but should become more difficult to master getting too max lvl. No clue why whm should be the baby healer for all the time on every lvl.

Also like i said job lore identity. WHM has the nature element on his side and we just spam Light magic like idiots. Why not make it for example like redmage but instead you have 3 element bars for water,air and stone (so 3 dmg spells for each type) and you fill them and can combine them to gain effects like if you combine water and stone you get a regen plus a shield on the group or if you take wind and water it gives a small haste buff too the group and heals them. And if you use them they give different charge per combination and you can combine these charges you gather (like max 2 or 3) to unleash a big elemental hit on the target that buffs all party members around it for the element charges you had. Ofc that doesnt example here can be changed a bit but it stille way better then anything we have on healer atm.
