Deep Discussion about - bard - is awful

when am writing this post. i want you understand not insulting you or your playstyle. but you should know. personally playing your job.. it kinda sucks. am type person tell you honestly how i feel about this job regardless what level my bard is. changes nothing.

Its not biased. its just boring. here lets give you good reason why its boring by comparing it to another job that well made. well loved it called ninja. ninja looks good feels good has nice looking abilities. doesn't have one button spam feast added to there kit. all you do is use performance in capital city. who plays bard for actually game play. cause it sucks that's why

your rotation never evolves its always the same costly dotting up things yet you have no bane like skill that spreads your dots. you have 1 button spam try to proc straight shot. while weaving bloodletter while using yours songs. your songs are pathetic. mage ballad is so bad. 1% damage increase to whole party. pure garbage. not to mention get a esuna like abilities that just as bad as fluid aura.

only real utility you get is battle-voice. then get 50-60 start getting new attacks. again these attacks are complete total snore feast cant find decent looking bow for life of you cause most bow glamour's are awful and bard sets are fashion nightmare. it gets somewhat better.. right nope wrong. its like the game devs making fun of bard players when your relic Armor dresses u up as a clown

you just get upgraded versions of rotation constantly beaten to death until your fingers hurt. not single ability that makes your job shine. with no ranger/bard feel at all. song animations are terrible. normally die in 1-2 hits cause super squishie but as long as you kite all is good

what makes me mad is people overly glorify there favourite job. they don't see imperfections of there job. moment someone points it out they get toxic upset cause someone telling people the truth or something overheard like forever just... damn squire enix does you guys dirty every expansion they need rework you give you better animations a funnier player style. we do not need anymore people pretending this job is perfect when it isn't

We get it already. You want jobs to be "flashy and not boring." That's what you've shown in literally every damn post you've made on this week old account. But that doesn't mean you can constantly just make post upon post of speculations and so-called "spoilers" just make a job seem better in your eyes while you talk about various "facts" and "data" without giving sources of any kind. Especially when some of your suggestions are far worse than you truly realize.

As for the whole "people don't realize the imperfections in their favorite jobs" deal, don't act like you speak for everyone else. It is true that all jobs have their issues here and there, but people learn to enjoy their jobs even with said issues, and if they don't, they try other jobs instead. We aren't forced into the "one job per character" thing other MMOs and RPGs do, so try out other jobs for yourself and see how they feel before you assume that they're worthless or whatnot.

As for you, you seem to have this unrelenting hatred for Bard, for whatever reason. You claim you're not biased, but you've put waaaay more energy and thought into demoralizing Bard players more than any other jobs you talk about. If you don't even play the job, and last time I checked your character out, YOU DON'T, why even bother complaining about it so much? You don't have to play it if you don't like it.

Demoralizing bard players no not one bit. but demoralizing bard devs you bloody right I am. you guys pay a sub every mouth with hope that maybe your job get some love. I just want the best for bard mains. I care for having a nice archer class that isn't a complete meme job I'm passionate about game being excited and fun. point is why aren't you why aren't bard mains upset. why aren't you growling like dog cause your doggy bowl is filled with veggies and no meat. specially when they been trying best fit in the meta. my huff isn't on the player. devs them messing the job up . bard needs rework just much as summoner did

My Huff is with devs that give you no love when clearly you deserve it like everyone else does don't attack me standing up bard job cause no one else is. if you are bard main. you love the bard. and this game you should be upset also. not at me but at devs themselfs. making your job way it is. boring if squire-enix hears your frustration watch they most likely will they will change bard. make it were it actually stands out

Bane is going away in a few weeks, so seems like they're addressing this half of your complaint by simply removing the ability entirely.

Additionally it's important to remember even when jobs are similar, usually one has some advantage over the other. I remember it wasn't that long ago that monk and bard both were highly reliant on critical hits to proc their extra skills, but while bard had a 100% proc rate, monk only had a 50% proc rate.

Just a tish bit late to this, but maxed out bard here to help.
Bard is a pretty flashy class in my personal opinion, op did make this post before Endwalker though so some of the flashy stuff wasn't there
As for glam I have no issue in finding glam. Just check out the Ophiotauroskin top! Ironwood Longbow is pretty nice looking too.

That sounds like a skill problem more than anything else.. considering I've done wall-to-wall pulls unsynced as Bard and survived using Second Wind and Nature's Minne.
While it does take time to see the beauty in playing as Bard, I do think op was a little biased in their post considering at the time of the post you hadn't even given the job a shot according to Doru Nintendan

. I do think Bard does need a little bit of a boost damage-wise, but it's not as bad as you make it seem to be. I honestly think if you try it out, max out the job, you'll grow to like it within time. :)
( I'm also taking this with a grain of salt since you play Arcanist lol )
