    Didn't they try this in Diadem with those who wanted to fight vs. those who wanted to gather and it was an utter disaster?

Also love to see same players fill all the top spots with kills and still lose. Small rant, why is it so hard to kill people at objectives? No one is saying don't kill just don't wander around the map flexing and wasting the rest of the teams time like the afkers. On the afkers they need to do something about the work around that prevents getting booted.

    Yeah, I miss the heavensward PvP days. I used to do a lot of the feast as an Astro back then, got pretty high in the ratings too. Now it’s basically just “go whm or lose”

    Gear used to be important too. Wearing a vit. Ring to survive a melee lb as a healer, min maxing by collecting gear from other parts of the game. Good times.

    I was in a PvP FC back then too, but now all of those friends have quit, after what PvP was like in Stormblood.

    Same here. I also liked the WoW-Legion era of a PVP rank that increased your power in Frontlines/BGs. I would love a stat template that gave your gear importance without making it unbalanced. Maybe adding something similar to Eureka and Bozja where pvp gear can give you pvp defense or haste without being OP.

    I figured that I'll add a suggestion since I'm currently thinking about it. Every pvp mode is going to eventually need this, but this is for the upcoming mode personally. I am also going off on a lot of assumptions based off the information that's already there.

    I would like to see a custom mode added for the new mode just for premades...kinda like what feast already has. I see the new mode consisting of a full party, but I also do see the restriction of how many can play together in a group, kind of like what frontlines currently has. It's to help with the catering. (Plus I personally miss seeing full group premades go against each other, but I don't feel as though that's important. So...)

    There will be another live letter prior to Endwalker launch where they will go over PvP changes. I believe it's scheduled for early November?

    Although not directly talking about the new mode (the question was about Rival Wings) there is a good discussion to be had here:

    1. A lot of players do not want to pvp
    2. There is a big skill gap and a lot of responsibility placed on players that add stress
    3. The Reward system needs to be fleshed out and improved upon.
