    Downtime on NIN is already really slow and dull.

    My idea was to take all of Ninja's peripheral abilities such as shadowfang, throwing daggers, and armor crush and turn them into long-ranged comboed abilities with DOT/Debuff procs.

    No no no, SE needs to stop breaking the aesthetic of the job. To me, there's no point in playing ninja if huton isn't a mudra ability. And it's so unnecessary, becaue huton is not hard to activate.

    Blood of the Dragon had no opportunity cost or integral mechanics. You could literally assign it to an auto-clicker and it'd work just like a trait.

    It was, in terms of actual complexity, a trait -- just with added button bloat for the purposes of having a shiny animation.

    Shadow Fang being removed from the rotation? Yeah, that's needless shallowing. Enochian or, worse, BotD? No. That's just redeeming needless button bloat.

    It's not dumbing down exactly if they replace an easy to maintian trait and replace it with something more interresting. Losing greased lightning, which monk got three expansions worth of skills just devoted to helping maintain it, to now getting the masterful blitz, for example, is a good thing. Greased Lightning wasn't exactly hard to maintain, just really punishing if the fight forced you to drop it for whatever reason. And now the job has something more engaging. If they give ninja something more engaging than just hit Armor Crush every 40-60 seconds, then that's still better for the job.

    The closest anyone is going to get to try the new changes is the media tour, otherwise, you will get your hands on it on release at the absolute earliest.
