There were many monks who wanted to keep our greased lightning buff aura, but that's gone forever. It's sad for those who wanted to keep it, but seems likely that's just how it's going to be.

I'm sure there were! I didn't mean to imply Monks didn't care about their aura (I hope it didn't come across that way).

And while I know it's unlikely that this thread achieves anything, I feel like I at least need to try.

No, you didn't at all. I was just using it as an example of a similar situation where the visual effect was simply deleted regardless of player requests. Maybe they'll listen, but I wouldn't have my hopes up.
