Making GIL with Gathering/Synthesis/Items/etc?

Thank you everyone for replying! We're not super far into the game, just got a few quests into Ceorthas, when we decided we needed money and fast. Repairs, food, gyshal greens etc was adding up really fast. I don't think we have Treasure Hunts unlocked yet, and only have the first lvl16 Roulette, but we do have the Palace of the Dead unlocked. We'll try to get a bit further into game too, so we can get the other things unlocked.

(We are on Primal, in Famfrit by the way).

You can pull up a history of the last 20 sales of an item when viewing it at the marketboard. It will include the buyer name, date/time sold along, quantity if it's a stackable item and price per unit. There's no scanning system to get a summary of sales.

Open your gathering, log select an item, copy item name, paste in MB, look at history.

Its long, slow, and cumbersome but it works.

Another tip. Some items are GC turnins. A good wiki will tell you which ones are. Gather and sell those in lots of 10.

Yes, that's my main on Siren. I started a new character on Primal's Famfrit to play with my friend and sister (newcomers), and realized just how little I had finally and how much I actually spent in game. As for your earlier reply, yea, I make sure to buy them from vendors and whatnot. And I'm not sure I'm comfortable using mods, so I'll just do it the manual way and track through the board.
