This may come as a shock to you, no one cares what the stance of the devs is or even what the hallowed YoshiP thinks. So you and your fellow puritans can stop wasting your breath about it or screaming "TOS" over and over.

And you can try your collective pushback all you want, you'll still be as powerless and fake as that guy on TWITter claiming he had 50 accounts banned.

This whole parenting issue has been such a weird and wild take. The responsibility for a kid has always been bigger than just the parent's. That's the whole reason why child protection services and children's rights organizations (which recently have been fighting for laws surrounding online grooming btw) are even a thing. Try and imagine this: some kids don't even have parents.

I'm not sure why you all keep acting like people are arguing in favor of things like grooming. No ones saying that gov't protection agencies shouldn't protect children from criminals; but ERP and NSFW Mods (even ones depicting fictional child like bodies) AREN'T criminal. They're just potentially vulgar elements of internet life that aren't appropriate for kids, and navigating the inappropriate parts of life for your kid is YOUR job as a parent.

Lazy parents need to stop trying to pass that responsibility off to strangers.

If they became less lax in allowing any 3rd party tools (parsing, mods, reshaders, cmtool) then the game would suffer because you'd basically be kicking out the modders, gposers, and raiders, people who keep the game alive long past the initial few days to a week after a new patch drops.

It might not be any skin off your back but it's easy for any person to say "Well I'm not part of x group so whatever happens to them isn't any of my concern"

It is a communal responsibility to watch out and do what is generally in the best interest for children. They are the future as such we all have a vested interest in making sure they are safe.

lol, no. I have no invested interest in any strangers children and I wouldn't be willing to sacrifice anything I enjoy to indirectly contribute to their safety. Parents get this weird idea that other people care about their children just as much as they do. No one else is looking out for your kids.

What is wrong with having a safd space for children to play? It is a T rated game. The position would make more sense for an AO game. What is wrong with being more mindful of potential minors?
