The crazy adventures of Inspector Hildibrand

If you like Hildibrand, one of the characters that shows up in Hildy's adventures (Inspector Briardien) is involved in the Scholasaite quests in Ishgard, but those require you to have finished HW's storyline first (and are far more serious in tone than the irreverence of Hildibrand - it appears SE were planning on replacing Hildibrand's quests with the Scholasiate, but that never happened). Briardien also appears briefly during the initial set of cutscenes to unlock the Firmament reconstruction quests (where he hints at the Hildibrand quests insanity ).

Another quest line with humour a lot of the time are the Postmoogle quests as they go into the backgrounds of many npcs, and some are quite funny.

Thanks for the info, yes I am playing through a second job now so I am taking in all the side quests I didn't take in when I did the MSQ. I hope they bring back Inspector Hildibrand it's so refreshing to just laugh at him and the sillyness.

As it happens, the postmoogle quests are required doing in order to do the Hildi line.
