Does it matter if OP is a troll or not?
If you queue for content, then you need to try to do the content. Trying and failing is okay. Needing a second or minute is okay. Having to drop, because something came up is okay. Not trying is not okay. It doesn't matter if it's one of the 3 big culprits of alliance raids, msq, or frontlines or something else entirely. I don't care if it's a guildhest. Just do the content. If you don't, you are griefing your party.

I had one run where more than half of one party were without jobstones. They said they were doing it for the challenge.
I also had a run with a BLM who said he was playing in first person for the challenge. I think he died to every pink orb.
Maybe the OP is just getting in groups with people challenging themselves to beat it without pressing any of the buttons.

Hey! Don't be toxic! This is a very friendly community therefore you should work hard so people watching TV can get their gear and quests done without any effortright?
Honestly, this isn't WoW so don't expect a single bit of competence from others, get used to people being absolute trash, and guess what, if you dare to complain because they are doing DPS from 3 expansions ago, you'll get reported <3 such a healthy community with lots of cute cat macros :3 but don't dare to ask them to pull their weight, they used a cute macro so now you have to carry them without complaining. Welcome to FFXIV.
My advice, don't bother with this kind of people. Do your stuff, if you see someone isn't doing theirs, try to kick, if it fails, then leave. Never carry those guys, be proud of yourself.
I'd rather have an aggressive toxic player in my party than a happy UWU ignoring mechanics and doing negative DPS.

How did you get timetravel powers??!! Answer me!
Or how about this. Build a social network and stop expecting pugs to have a standard. Unless you make the group or the group is made by players that set the ground rules. The game made the group for you, and set no standards on how players play.
The risks of getting a bad group counters the convenience of how easy it is to make groups. Expecting people to have the same standards as you in a pug group is foolish. They can play how they want, and if they get kicked. Will easily find another group.
You have tools to counter them. They don't got to try, or even play the fullest. Just because they are grouping does not mean they got to respect anyone. You all just using each other for progression, it is not like you are friends, or should care about each others fun. Because maybe them trying is not fun for them. And you running over the fun they having. Just like them being lazy is running over yours. That is the price of pugging, and I think it adds spice to the game.
You can see this for yourselves in raids. The BLM is usually auto attacking or standing still, and occasionally casting one spell. Melee DPS is just auto swinging. You don't need a Ph.D. in meters to see this happening and 'deduce who's the douche'.
I don't think your supposed to tell people your using ACT especially to harass people based on dps..
