It’s the thin line of basic respect vs expectation.

In an alliance raid or any party content, that you want to see a basic level of effort from the other players. Some people expect that baseline to be too high, others expect it to be lower than what it should be.

If you are afk’ing or just auto attack spamming without a word or reason (single parent i know thjngs can happen unexpectedly but typing afk takes .5 seconds) then that’s not holding up the basic level of effort.

At the same point more high end top tier players need to adjust their expectations and be respectful for players that may be less skilled, levelling or gearing alt jobs, trying something new out, or other factors can decide whether or not someone is able to play at a high enough level, one wipe isnt bad, even on first boss, its when you wipe two or three times, that is when you should be concerned. People can be rusty.

Doing the artifact grind for new relic i spammed StB raids, i can say 3 out of 5 groups wiped to Mateus, only to absolutely crush the remaining bosses.

Show some patience and respect where due.

Bolded is what I'm getting at. I don't expect perfect rotations or zero mistakes. Heck I'm no perfect player. But there's a difference between going into a group and making some mistakes because you're taking it easy, and going into a group to just auto attack or spam blizzard etc.

You shouldn't go into random group content expecting top level play, but you also shouldn't go into group content expecting everyone else to carry you while you just relax and auto attack while watching a video on your other monitor or something.
