lol I was tanking. It was random party that i join, they weren't the best dd but every fight we did they improve theirs parse. On a 7-8 min kill i do like 4-5k dmg spamming rage. Doing more dd helps a lot keeping the hate, even on a mana burn party were the thm don't know when to stop nuking.

i personally prefer to tank on mrd. i haven't parsered myself on it though. Next time i do il post the Damage. i stay away form endgame pick up party's like the plague,lol. when the DD is slow it really gives the tank a chance to out DD them cause you are the only one attacking the whole time.

Yeah, but well sometimes taking a random party is more fun that do the same fight exactly the same way over and over again. I find in those wins more excitement that on a regular party.

Anyway... What this thread was about: Flat combo sux, spamming Rage is both hate and dd wise better.

before he turns red you should have no problem pullin of combos from every side of ifrit if you really wanna DD. When he turns red id stick to frontal and maybe side combos if your up to it.

pug for me =frustration, i get excitement out of trying to beat our time or beat my own damage scores.
