I don't know why i never seen any other gla put out some numbers like this... It's not that really hard and been almost one of the top dds make you almost forget about controlling the hate.

I was using a melted +enmity plus sword, with ifrit's i could push a little more dmg.

Hi Signy,

I think one of the influences that allow for your DPs is other classes having to run away to avoid Ifrit's attacks, slowing down their immediate damage output. I imagine that there may be many tanks with similar numbers, but have not parsed it out yet.

Well every glad i saw tanking ifrit don't pass the 6k after like 20 mins of fight.

Aggravates my groups to immeasurable levels, but it's sooo fun. ^_^

On this fight we were 8 and beat it in like 12 min. Anyway, 2k from the top dps is really good for the tank.

i cant read the numbers on your parser. But any DD should be doing at least 8k so if you managed that then good job.

after 18 mins in the fight and Ifrit wasn't dead yet your DD should have done alot more damage then that. Basically what im saying is the reason your DD looks good is cause the rest of the DD is so poor. Im sorry to give such a poor criticism but id like to see some numbers if you guys have a cleaner kill. Im not sure what took so long, if it was just deaths or poor DD.

Before patch 1.20 i tanked ifrit a lot and we had one lancer only do like 3k damage the whole fight, this resulted in me doing a higher then usual damage at around 9k. My norm was about 3-4k.

I feal like im being a real Debbie downer here but that is my honest opinion.

Pro tip: Look at the battle chat on my first image, that is what i'm spamming. On the first fight we take a lot of time to kill them because there was a dd that dc the whole fight. Anyway, try it and tell me after how do you parse.

we usually get a 7-8 min kill. the mages average about 8-12k. our pug usually does 10-13k the tank does around 2k tank takes about 40k damage.

Like i said, im not trying to rain on your parade here. id love to see some shots of a cleaner fight if you can.

was there 2 gladiators or were you tanking also?
