Did a quick Google search as I don't know anything about cost to make and run an MMO but it says 150m to 500m to be set aside to start an MMO so if you think about it they had to make TWO MMO's not just one because of the disaster of 1.0

Honestly, they should just start remaking the games from FF1 onward in the same style as the ff7 remake, they would be printing money for decades.
