The story might not end up being for you, and that's fine! If these parts of the game are things you don't enjoy, breeze through them to get back to what you do enjoy.

There are plenty of other players, like myself, who enjoy pretty much everything the game has to offer, including parts that you personally don't enjoy. However, using objective statements for subjective emotions ("This all serves to weaken any feeling you have for any characters in the story, love or hate them, live or die, why should we care?") Doesn't do you any justice.

You can probably nix the objective response for subjective statements and still get your message across. No need for the passive-aggressiveness, either. Like you said, this isn't twitter - we're full grown adults, mostly.

If there were any judging to be done it would be in what way the established community dealt with us fragile little sprouts. We want to grow but keep coming up against obstacles and beasties that nibble away at out leaves.
