Most of the people playing this game don't want dev time wasted on crap no one plays, and that is hard raid content.

It's not going to change no matter how much you screech, so my advice stands. Play something else.

You can stop projecting. Yoshi-P himself enjoys raiding a lot and some JP servers have a 30% clear rate. But sure, that's crap that no one plays.

Oh btw, I raided in WoW until Legion and cleared all raids from Vanilla > end of Legion on hard/mythic. I'm just not dumb enough to think that's what FF14 is about, because it isn't, never has been.

Don't know, don't care.
But it's absurd to claim that the majority even if they don't partake in it view difficult content as wasted dev resources, especially given their longevity compared to more "popular" stuff, because it still has a decent amount of participation, much higher than you'd expect, and it's not going away anytime soon.

Also, this isn't about WoW, idc what you did in WoW.

I mean, I take it as a rather big red flag when people fleeing WoW are saying things in FFXIV should be changed to be more like it is in WoW. WoW isn't exactly doing very well right now, so from my perspective arguments are being made to make this game worse, not better.

The reason WoW is doing bad is not exclusively due to game design.
