Do not know them.
Do not care.

Do not know them.
Do not care.

I'm of a similar mind set. Don't care that they boosted; however, if they then trash talk the game for a lack of understanding, whether that be from a gameplay view point or a lore stand point, then they best damn well be prepared for the back lash. There certainly are those who view boosting as taboo, but most vitriol comes from a point of ignorance and targeting the game for it.
Having said that, that's not justification for harassment. Criticism will be met with criticism, especially so if it's born of reasons mired in boosting. But seeing as they're hardcore raiders I doubt that'll be an issue.

You are in a bubble. On a daily basis I am dealing with more lag because people like you have convinced themselves they can "just deal with it as it happens" but in reality these things are easily predictable. I think it is healthy for developers to be aware of a potential flood of new people watching this realizing FF14 raiding is not just some face roll joke.Again - why would most people care?
You realize the devs don't listen to people like you, they respond based on situations that arise, yes? As they've always done, with or without our massive WoWfugee migration. They will continue to do so when things settle down again, or if we lose people when other MMOs on the horizon finally release or WoW magically gets its crap together.
I doubt you realize this but the one guy who was famous for optimizing Mythic dungeons runs quit for good and switched to FF14. If you are not aware what is going on you will be the first one confused by joined parties full of sprouts during a content lul or cities now giving congested messages when you try to zone in or server swapping being restricted out of nowhere when trying to do hunts. You are not allowed to AFK for more then 30 minutes now because of these things that you do not think matter to everyone else.
If you choose to be blind that is your choice but I choose to inform people about issues that I can see blowing up into bigger talking points in the game.

I'm starting to believe the OP is a troll here you guys, because this is some pretty obvious bait.

More players are a good thing, hopefully they will enjoy the game. I agree some of the behavior that's displayed by the people who migrate is not a good thing. FFXIV is what it is, come in with a open mind and decide for yourself. Because we are all here to have fun in a game. Live and let live, don't be rude to other gamers don't be mouthy to other gamers and don't try to remake the game into the last game you played. That is all. Good luck to them. I'm glad I left ESO to be honest. I have done more dungeons in raids in FFXIV since coming back in June then I have in 10 years. That is how casual friendly this game is and I am having a blast. I'm older and I admit my reflexes are not great but no one has yelled at me for my screw ups. I have gotten lots of great tips on the fly in dungeons and raids which I so appreciate. Just have fun people! See my signature.
Enjoy Life you only get one.

Just giving a heads up. If Asmongold was the gateway for the large casual base over at WoW to give FF14 a shot then I promise you these guys are the gateway for the raiding base. We are 99 days from the launch of Endwalker with WoW in another stupid long content lul and maybe one other MMO out there to soak up these players in New World.
I am full out expecting 1,000 to 2,000+ person or more queues on every single server on Endwalker launch with severe lag and crashes.
Why the clickbait title? It's like you want there to be drama where there isn't actually any.
Some high end raiders are coming over here to try our raids. Great. Hope they have fun! Who cares about addons, streamers have been using them for years, let people play the way they like. Sounds interesting to see how it goes for them.
What else is there to say?
This has been blown up by various streamers to create as much controversy as humanly possible. This is just another big pay day for all of the people involved.Source: https://twitter.com/maximum/status/1425376541953961987
So A LOT of you may not know but Limit Max is the leader of the #2 guild in WoW formerly #1 up to like a month ago. About a year ago he created a character and boosted to 70 then rushed to 80 to try out raiding. He took a pause to focus on WoW stuff but he is back. Now that WoW is in the mother of all content lulz with no prospect for content soon Max has decided to organize some WoW players who raid/do mythics to try and blind tackle Final Fantasy 14's hardest content very seriously.
So lets list off the upcoming drama fest from an event that is going to get a lot of a attention on Twitch:
1. All of them will be using ACT (drama fest alone)
2. All of them have boosted and Naguura even made a Youtube video saying she boosted just to do this event and wants to do the story. (SUPER DRAMA FEST)
3. Almost all of them are using UI altering mods
4. They are doing COMPLETELY blind prog on lvl 50/60/70/80 savage/hard/Extreme content and Ultimates with zero guides......
5. Most of them have had maybe a week to learn their classes.
Wondering what the communities thoughts on this are right now? Limit Max seems to think the community cares about them boosting given the Source Twitlonger. I see the difference between World first raiders boosting and Quin69 or LazyPeon (Might just be me).
How do you guys think this is going to go?

I'm not in a bubble. You think this is the first time we've had massive lag? You think this will continue on, especially after they've addressed the issues and are working on getting things fixed as fast as they can?You are in a bubble. I already play with lag in big cities as it is, even before the mass migration. Some of us can actually deal with it, because we deal with it a lot already, and we aren't petulant children.
Some of us have been here since ARR dropped. We have seen every issue you've mentioned and then some, and hey - we lived! And stuff improved once the devs were able to fix stuff! Did you know Titan HM used to be nearly impossible to get through for a lot of players because of how bad the servers were? People called it Lagslide for a reason. But guess what - it's fixed now, and none of those problems happen much anymore. Because that's what happens when things start breaking down and making things more difficult for the playerbase. Gee, who'd have thought?
You can also still AFK for as long as you want to if you simply interact with something, btw.
The only one blind here is you, trying so hard to doomsay while obsessing over every little breath WoW players take or every little mention they make of XIV. We get it, WoW bad and you want reasons to justify hating it now and moving to XIV. Literally man, get over your breakup like a normal adult.
he comes across as someone bitter that's madly trash talking his ex in front of all his new friends and warning them about her, to try feel better about himself because the ex was everything in his life and it's his way of coping with the loss or rather, realization that it was nothing special, doubt it's a troll tbh
