I am sorry you seem confused how these issues outside of the MMO from the largest competition spill over to FF14. You are no longer playing in a closed eco system of a bad WoW patch or another MMO barely means anything to FF14 in their own little corner of the internet.

If you have not noticed these types of floods have also increased response times from GM's having to deal with people not used to having a TOS enforced.

This issue will affect how people perceive FF14 raiding for years to come like it or not. The current opinion of FF14 raiding outside of this MMO is that it is easy and any addon usage will get you immediately banned. It is an opinion built on lies spread for years by people with financial agendas and incomes dependent on WoW being the popular MMO.

Personally as someone who has FF14 as their MMO I am cheering all of these streamers on trying out FF14 raiding.
Again - why would most people care?

You realize the devs don't listen to people like you, they respond based on situations that arise, yes? As they've always done, with or without our massive WoWfugee migration. They will continue to do so when things settle down again, or if we lose people when other MMOs on the horizon finally release or WoW magically gets its crap together.

Idk man you are absolutely obsessed with XIV somehow "winning" over WoW and as I said, it's genuinely creepy. XIV will proceed as it has always done, with fixes or notices or upgrades given as necessary (even if likely not always exactly when we want them done).

I ain't confused about nothing, I just think you obsess over WoW like it's a bad breakup and really need to focus on yourself and your gameplay more than what everyone else is doing on streams or choosing to migrate for. I welcome all the new players coming in and the raiders trying stuff out, but like... I'm not going to care past "ah good for them". Most people won't.

And you believing this singular group will suddenly bring in Drama somehow is just creating boogeyman. You know what'll actually happen? Nothing! Nothing will happen to them! At best, they'll bring in more raiders to the game, which would be a boon at this point. But all this drama and doomsaying in your first post is legitimately not going to happen except in your own head.

Again, maybe it's time to stop obsessing over what WoW players are doing.
