You enjoy distracting much like SE with their intended lottery fiasco. It's always something other than a real solution to the housing issues, instanced single-housing.

"Fanboy is gaming jargon used to describe an individual that has gone beyond the point of being a PC or console game fan and, during online chats or discussions, shifts to defend the program at all costs, unable to take any criticism or acknowledge any shortcomings of the game or gaming console."
Some of you already know what's up. That lottery system is going to fuck housing hard. If you're on a low pop server you may love it. Looking at the current rate of new players playing the game and the mobs on people currently hanging by plots which seems to have increased dramatically... Odds are people are going to head back into the salt mines in droves. Can't wait for a good laugh.

Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!

Well, takes Balmung for example since it has highest population in which at bare minimum, it is safe to assume there are 1,000 players looking for house.
Under current reclaim system, if you want to get a house, your competition is usually at average against other 10s because not all other 990 players will want to camp.
Now under this "lottery" if one account can only submit once, you are still going to against other 999 people which further lower your chance of getting one.
Understand the logic now?

RMT bots can buy lottery tickets as well... so the plan of doing it this way is full of holes, it would better to create a system that would flush third party software and botting out.
But no one wants limited amounts of clicks per day per place card... it is not like you can only click 1 place card 3 times a day system... but can do the same on the neighbor building or the likes.... that kind of lottery is better as it does not make people bash their wrists and fingers clicking on a placecard for 2 days, but whomever gets it when the time is up gets it... that one could be missing it as well.
Yes RMT bots can also click 3 times per day, but it gives a better shot for players to actually get what they want over time maybe, witout having to run into physical problems caused by self.

Can't say I agree with this, lol.
As someone who sat clicking for hours and days to get my home, I wouldn't do it ever again because it was terrible for my health and mind. I got incredibly lucky and I would never want to do that again. I wished multiple times while clicking that placard for some sort of lottery system where my chances of getting it are lower but I don't have to give up some incredibly random amount of time out of my life to do so.
I'm glad it's going this way. It's just the reality of having way more players than available plots that makes housing so hard to break into. So having it be something that can happen in the background instead of making someone camp a plot if they want to get in is way better.
Player

always make me smile to see a naive player, its cute but far from reality, many MANY player who already own multiple house are doing it for a very serious purpose, ooh no no no not RP lol sometime you see someone coming and say "hey they doing RP maybe ?" but no, have you ever tryed to check these discord about "reselling house" ? no ? hmm? you should it tell EXACTLY the reason why these ppl do that (short story its related to RMT), so yeah believe me just a "1 ticket per account" wont stop them if these individuals WANT to buy all the house, they most likely will

My guess because the rule is one house per account they will only be able to enter one per account but in truth this is new so its good to bring it up incase the developers havent thought of it. Personally there system sounds good for newly vacated homes but with a whole new district will people have to bid on each individual plot or cant it be just any small? Because if its any small thats good if its individual plots makes it worse because just spitballing but some lots might get 50 but and others might just get a couple.

The way it was implemented before was that the players couldn't relo if they had more than one personal house per account per server. My guess because the rule is one house per account they will only be able to enter one per account but in truth this is new so its good to bring it up incase the developers havent thought of it. Sorry, but that's not correct. Those who have more than one personal house (and were grandfathered in) have always been able to use relocate on any/all of their houses. From the 4.2 patch notes:
Players will be permitted to own only one private and one free company estate per World per service account.
* Players may still relocate any private or free company estates they presently own.
