All I'm asking you to do is show how it is illegal for the SE GMs to be monitoring that Discord server, taking notes, and then watching the ingame logs for when something lines up, and actioning off of the ingame logs. Show me what laws that would violate because "it breaks the law" doesn't mean anything unless it is quanitified. I am also stating that by posting content onto Discord (or any other social media for that matter) doesn't really make it your content, just content Discord has identified to belong to a specific login that (in theory) only you happen to know the login information for, so in essence, Discord (and the other social media platforms) can (and have) bypassed privacy laws because of terms you agreed to in their terms of service.

Sorry to break your dream bubble but that twitch ban has nothing to do with FF14 GM and credit belongs to SE PR team.
It is the PR team that monitoring social media platform and noticed the activity that will damage the image of FF14 and SE as whole and took the action
Game Master only deal with in game issues and they have no authority outside of game.
This is also why all RMT related issue is dealt by the Special Task Force.

Even for PR team, they are not CIA that do not respect other nation's sovereignty
They can't not spy and monitoring Discord that is not an open platform (a lot of channel need permission to access; it is not as same as Twitter or Twitch where you don't need account)
It is just like Yoship said about they can not putting spyware into player computer to detects if players are using parser.
They need to follow the law and respect the privacy.
