Yeah, that has been one of the bigger issues with WoW. It's all about the raiders. That's all they've cared about for a long, long time.IF they EVER EVER listen to you on point number 4 I promise you that is the day I quit FF14 for good. You quit WoW in Cata but some of us kept playing passed that and watched Blizzard listen to guys like you who wanted to spice up gear because they get bored and want to make the end game a living hell for the other 99% of the playerbase who does not raid log.
The problem Blizzard has is they had deterministic gear with set slots and pve vendors with very easy to figure out BIS list but the hardcore raid loggers complained in Wrath and Cata that it was too predictable. WELL GUESS what they got what they wanted and now Blizzard feels required to reinvent the wheel every patch to keep the raid loggers entertained.
This causes some patches to be super interesting with cool gear stats and 75% of the time for it to be super boring because you can only reinvent the wheel so many times before you have to start stacking systems on top of systems on top of systems.
People in WoW WOULD KILL for what you have in FF14 right now. The things you are complaining about as being boring and predictable are why the raids here are based on skill and the raids over there are based on gear gating.
I begged Blizzard for YEARS to bring back deterministic gearing and deal with the out of control ilvl scaling and it took years but they finally listened to me on the ilvl bloat but then ignored all of the feedback on gearing and made it worse.

I sincerely doubt they listened to you specifically. I would also argue that they don't listen to anyone at all but themselves. If they just happened to address something you and others had requested it had to be by coincidence. lol
