    @ ced
    I try
I do so because I have an epic memory about my first days in ffxi. I had zero idea of what to do XD. I just pretty much zoned out of windurst was in awe of the land scape. I had the intruction book next to me and started to read what to press. Along with menue exploration. And figuring out what button did what. I also had help from a a player named rykon. A galkan monk who showed me around windurst. I only saw im 2-3 days of my game time. But I still remember him and how he helped me

Its also how I was raised. try to be helpful person no matter what. I feel we need to be nice to newbies to our mmo. No matter of they are new to mmo or new to our game. A lil kindness goes a long way.
And is also how we can promote the game. MMo need a good community with alot of helpful ppl, or it just not fun.

It's really sad that some people feel that because there is an internet between us, it's ok to throw all previously established social rules out the window.

no excuse to bash ppl. I felt the same way about WoW. And WoW isn't known for having a helpful community. Nor is Aion.

I didn't like the apporoch but he did sau sprry a few times about it. He is just not used to it. I raged quit a few games when I first cot them cuz the controls even after reading them were hard to do. Like ff12 gambit system in getting the npc to do what you needed or dragon age origins strat set up.
please don't male excuses for pointless bullying ffxi was known as a helpful community, lets have it be the same for ffxiv. We kinda need to get ppl to play the game showing a bit of kindness goes a long whay into doing that.

I found FFXI harder than FFXIV, probably because ffxi was my first mmorpg but on those moments SE never put a guide or something, no tutorial, nothing, but you have to learn on your way.

It's very frustrating.
Did you go into active mode? And then Lock onto the target?

ffxi has a tutorial now. its simple but fun and does give you newbie rewards. It was helpful when I needed a refresher after a 1/2 year break.

lol! yeah Lynn's a bit lawless I'd say. It oddly enough works in those extreme balances of good and bad like that lotto ticket (nice btw!), but it's got proximity to B-town and the most beautiful urban beaches in the northeast. Still not as bad as Lawrence where I had jury duty there with a 3 hour deliberation on a case that spanned over 2 days. O_O Why can't they give us jury duty somewhere nice for a change like Newburyport or Salem?
