What we know:
To unlock PLD you need Lv30 GLA, and Lv15 MRD.

I want something appropriate for those levels when I unlock PLD, and not something exaggerated like a Lv50 boss fight that requires a party. On the flip side, obtaining armor, weapons, learning spells and abilities should be challenging and worthwhile.

Actually you raise a good point, jobs require at most a class level of 30. This means that the content required to get some of this JSE may not be hard for level 50 characters, but it may be hard for the levels for which it was designed. Though that's not to say they can't release multiple sets for different level ranges.

JSE will probably be level 50, just because the job class is at 30 doesn't mean the content for the gear is.

In Letter from the Producer XXIV next to all the Job Content in the notes section, it states "To take the form of quests incorporating exploration and battle." This is next to Unlocking [Job], Learning [Job] Abilities, and Acquiring [Job] artifeact armor. I Understood it as all the new Job Content would be quest related including Artifact. I would love for Artifact to come from a raid or some form of big battle but I don't see that happening. I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Does anybody seriously want AF meant for anything lower than 50? If any of the AF gear is for under level 50 that means that:

A) Anybody who has that class at 50 will be able to solo it
B) Everybody will have it
C) It will be useless because level 50 gear will be better

Seriously anybody can get a class to 50 in a week if they try hard enough, why waste development time and a nice looking piece of gear for levels people are going to be on for a day maybe?

Probably just a quest that has you talk to a few npcs. Isn't what every quest in this game does.
