The title you are looking for is "Elite Cascadier" wich came from the very first seasonal event after ARR launch back in september 2013.

I dont really care for titles, but I would love the dalamud horn or a version of it. Thanks for letting me know though

You have no chance to obtain the 1.0 achievements anymore. As someone that was around during 1.0 that bought the collectors edition. I don't give a rat's ass if everyone can get the tattoo, legacy mounts, the achievements. I played 1.0 because I loved final fantasy and didn't need any rewards to continue to do so. Was it in a terrible state, ofc, did it improve over time before 2.0 yes. Was there other games I could have played, sure. I wanted to play 1.0 and i dont deserve a trophy for that and i play it up till the end. The fact they give us a lower sub is more than they need to do. The title/the rewards are 10 years old. You really want to gate keep that. Its a game not real life. People are so for SE taking things out of the game.

I agree with you, but if you love the game. How does denying the new players or people that just need a break for a while benefit the game. How does it help final fantasy grow?

Legacy items and status are the only Timelocked content that should never be opened to anyone.
Is the only form of exclusivity that should be off the reach of any new players.

To me it's disrespectful to try and take a piece of gaming history from those who stuck through it. It trivializes those who stayed and put in the time. Even if every single player out there had the same archivements, titles or mounts, your character would still be unique to you. And thats because of the unique memories you share with it.

I mean, I'd be 110% okay with this as long as I got a ride to space and back. Just one. Being a temporary astronaut would be fantastic.

Getting your legacy toons name in the credits
Getting a back tattoo on that toon if carried over to ARR
and Getting a Sub Discount (costing instead 10$) is more then enough for a reward.

I don't think they were OWED anything but citing that there are a lot of things that were rewarded for it doesn't mean that the requirements for them were any less unique.

Yeah, you get a lot of cool things for having stuck with it. Nobody is asking for MORE stuff .. except apparently people who want to fulfill the literal letter of the achievement without the context which was the entire point making it special.

Beside a bunch of you seem to be forgetting one small detail here... they've already been selling legacy rewards for years now and the majorities take at the time it was revealed was generally "who cares" so really, what's the argument here again?

Considering China is really it's own thing, basically "franchised" FFXIV.. that's them. Am I surprised a market that values profit above all else decided to sell absolutely everything? No. This doesn't change what the original intent of "legacy" stuff was though.

oh yeah, achievements from legacy. Well, I said this before and I'll say it again. I'm fine with legacy achievements being achievable again but only if the Legacy version of the product becomes a playable product again and they earn it through playing through it like it should be. The mounts earned and carried over... yea, I stopped caring about that years ago especially with everything else they added to the mogstation.

The whole idea is moot. This is almost certainly never happening and we are likely never getting "FFXIV classic" so that it'll be an option. Yes.

It wasn't a smart decision for sure, but it's not like anyone knew it was going to happen or that they were going to be rewarded. It was severely after the fact.

I understand there's a faction in here who likes to overblow any negative "corporation evil!" thing they can.. but this really isn't some evil gatcha/gambling hook they're exploiting.

It is really funny to read all these reasons why it should stay exclusive, but as soon as somebody uses the same reasons for PvP Ranked Seasons, they will be wrong ofc. Nice double standards

But you can't in good faith equate the two.

I see this argument all too often from entitled players, in regard to mounts/titles/glamour from both Legacy FFXIV and the Feast. In both cases a small minority of the players supported a game/mode that was not widely popular at the time and provided feedback that SE has used to improve each, and in both cases entitled players have demanded that they be given access to those same rewards. I’m glad SE has (for the most part) ignored the entitled players and continued to keep this stuff exclusive.
