Just had what I must consider my worst dungeon run ever. Cutter's Cry. I was tanking, and everyone else were sprouts. The dps players did just fine, but oh boy, this poor healer...
We wiped around 10 times, and shameful as it was, I'll admit, I deserted Cutter's Cry after 40 minutes. The healer first died by randomly standing in sandquakes for a minute, without noticing all the damage. Then we died on a medium-large pull. The healer is for some reason always standing at max range, far away from everyone and I die by the time he runs within range to heal. So I decide to pull less. We eventually get to the second boss later on, and I had to teach him what Esuna was. (how does so few sprouts in the 45-50 range even know that Esuna is a thing? I swear, read your abilities!) He died and we wiped twice to the second-boss sand worm's buried charge, the healer isn't paying attention. I then try a medium-large pull again, being confident that we'll survive the pull with all my cooldowns up. No, we die again, because the healer is yet again standing in bad (blue geysers) and not paying attention.

Then we get to the last boss and I explain the dragon/violet mechanic and the ram/blue mechanic. The healer gets ko'd from 100% to 0%, immediately dies to this mechanic the first it's used, four times, and we wiped every time. Gear must've been low item level? Didn't check. I just couldn't utter any more patience in this run, it had all run out... Exhausting. The healer seemed like a nice guy, but jesus christ, please use your eyes!

The final boss is not horrible to do without a healer.

For me I sometimes get confused with all the mechanics I am dps I know red, orange is bad found out blue is bad too. I am still learning. So try and be kind, as BRD I try and support as much as I can while putting out the most DPS. I wish people would slow down, I got left today in the main story quest and couldn't catch up to the group. They didn't bother to wait or say a word. So I left I don't usually do that but I couldn't ride down to the main boss because of all the rush.

Maybe so, but when the healer dies during the first 30 seconds then a clear is pretty difficult, as I experienced myself four times. None of the dps knew about limit break either so we could squeeze in more damage, as per usual with sprouts.

Just finished up a random messy orbonne run, and it reminded me how sad it is that casual content gets gutted in this game just so that lazy people can zergrush through it without even making an attempt at doing mechanics correctly. The group I just saw had no business getting through each fight in that alliance raid without a single wipe. Orbonne isn't even MSQ content, it's totally optional, I dunno why they had to nerf it.

This is gonna be long and has been complained about here already, nobody is gonna read this but I need to vent.
    Book Length Pre word
To start I have a burger king crown but I usually take it off because I don't need it to give unsolicited advice (jokes aside, I usually stay silent unless we are having a n00b notification + we are struggling or/and someone is asking for help). I do consider the quality of mentors to be a rollercoaster of a roulette ranging from very bad to inspiring rare occurrences. I think I would locate myself on the scale somewhere in the middle. I am good enough to help when needed but I have never done synched down level 50 extremes before therefore I am also not a genie, nor do I pretend to know every job in and out, I am a good healer and because of that, I choose to run my mentor roulettes as one always. I am also the honest type (I won't pretend I know sth when I don't lol).
That being said, because of my lack of experience with level 50 ex synch down content in the past I tended to leave my mentor roulette on entrance if I caught one (because I don't know much more than unsynch ver taught me so I can't really help). Also another relevant point I was not doing my mentor roulettes for a while already (been semi burnt out so I have been doing basic stuff to cap and yeet myself straight after). I came back fully just last month. In the last 2 weeks, I decided to challenge myself and actually stick mentor roulettes out no matter where I end up in and how familiar I am with it. Usually, I type on the entrance that I have never been there synched down if so. Now I can confidently say with how overgeared I am I tend to survive but also figure out what I need to do quickly enough not to be the cause of major issues and often enough I can help people who struggle to understand the mechanics for Shiva Ex, Titan Ex, and Levi Ex.

    THE CORRECT STORY
Today I got dropped into Ramuh ex in prog 40 mins (so 20 mins to go). I was the last one to fill the party, I have never done it synched down so I type it in the chat. They had waymark A placed on the south of the boss I looked at it and figured it is probably stun spot (I was kinda not sure but figured I will roll with it). Nobody commented on my n00b statement. Tank pulled. When I got stunned I was standing in the waymark. We wiped 2 mins in to apparently DPS taking tank's orb (he was annoyed about it), they pointed out in chat that A waymark is only for stunned. So me being the friendly type as usual typed in chat 'ah so that is the concept for waymark '. My co heal responded 'Mentors, uhhhh'. I responded with a polite 'I did warn I never did that synched down, there is no reason to be mean'. She didn't respond we were mid-pull, got stunned, standing in waymark with other dps. Nobody freed us so we got unhappily seduced by the bearded dud (ever heard of 'consent', mate? lol). Dps got rescued. I died. I get eventually rezzed but we die to the very same thing as the pull before (orb thing). After one more pull tank decided to leave and I for the very first time in months decided to yeet myself as well.

I don't really mind getting dropped to random Ex's atm but for the god's sake please don't expect me to be Alpha and Omega of every instance in this game (THERE IS A HUGE AMOUNT), I can help you with the majority of mechanics as is but please don't rage at me nor play burger king crown card when I am not even an issue there _^_.
    Papaya¬.¬

Also another 'small' story. Expert roulette's latest dungeon. I was a healer as usual though that is not relevant bit. DPS types less than one min into that he is lagging af. I can kinda relate (I MEAN WE ALL HAD A TIME WE LAGGED IN-GAME, c'mon!), we are mid pull so I say nothing. After we finish it (it took a bit admittedly but I am mastering my scholar so IDM, I am still kinda engaged) other dps (DNC) types: 'Are you sure you are just lagging?'. The BLM types back he is not 'just' lagging. Anyways we clear first boss and we go on. On last pull before second boss I notice that laggy dps being absent (still in instance though) I ask him to join us, he doesn't respond as we are fighting that pack I don't chase further. We kill the pack. The Laggy doesn't move so I go back to him to check what's up. He has DC red button permanently on. A clear sign he is having internet issues and is about to DC. I type it in chat and offer that we go on and try to clear the second boss without him. We have already been doing things pretty much semi alone and it is no like laggy is actually trying to be carried so ya know. Tank responds that we can try. The moment we pull Laggy actually fully dcs (as in goes offline). The DNC that was dodging perfectly fine before starts almost compulsively derping. IDK if he is doing it on purpose or what so I just cover his ass as much as I can while dodging without a word. BLM (ze laggy dps) returns on the second half of the boss just perfectly in time for DNC to get completely yeeted by yet another beam of ray. I instantly rezz and hope to Gods he doesn't get any more suicidal because I was out of aetherflow and all my insta heals by then. Thankfully the rest of the second boss goes absolutely fine and it is clear that BLM stopped struggling on his end. As we open the chest window pops up asking for Laggy to be kicked. T.T Like... wha??? Fairly sure it was the DNC, it didn't get mentioned in the chat and my co tank must have also rejected it as we cleared the dunge without any changes or further obstacles. The blm thanks for patience (second time). I say 'no problem'. I get 3 comms.
There is a point to it I swear. I have been in instances with people that really did EVERYTHING to get carried. I have been in places where person goes offline to never come back. But if someone is clearly struggling and then dcs but then comes back... trying to kick after he is already there and all issues are resolved with no word or nothing? Quite a bit OFF. I mean, yes, I am a huge advocate for patience and I just don't think a person who says outright they are lagging and then dcs and comes back pretty much 1 min after deserves a vote dismiss. :/

Baelsars Wall with my twink healer.

Tank throws something at 1 mob and then just runs. Me like wtf? Tried to run after him while being attacked by like 20 mobs (Scholar so auto-aggro of everything not touched...). He/she didn't even activate superbolide and just died.
Teammates: Oh, he's sprout, he needs to learn!
Me: So maybe explain him how?

First door opens: Tank rans in and aggros a mob or two. Everybody gets damage except tank.

Well, usually i'm nice. We did somehow the first boss.
Then i checked and found out about tank being sprout (obiously wasn't). More like 10 level 80 war jobs and crafters and everything.

My inner healer was so pissed that i just let them all die on the moving platform and then left, especially as the tank was again busy with something else than tanking the hordes of adds. I am still pissed. I don't mind new players, i always try to be helpful, i never let anybody down if they at least try but for f*** sake, if you list as a tank then at least try.

In more than 1 year i left 1 dungeon duty, now it was the second. I'm so mad...

Being an ShB baby myself, I really wish I get to experience Orbonne prior to its several nerfs and echo implementation. It always baffles me when I get into one of those messy runs and I just had to mumble “No wonder they nerf this one hard. Ya’all still failing hard despite the nerfs and Echo!”

Now I wonder if they’re going to nerf NieR’s too… which I’d rather not see it happening. They’re unnecessarily long raid that the current difficulty is barely enough to make me stay awake to get through it if it wasn’t for their music.

Doing Delubrum Reginae over and over again for the Relic Grind, I've seen some stuff. People not using essences is the just the tip of the iceberg. So I can totally relate if people are slowly losing their sanity over time, wanting to get the grind done and being annoyed at mistakes that are made.

And then, there was this specific run, where we had multiple tanks fighting over aggro at the first boss.

Apparently, one of the tanks kept provoking the boss to the great annoyance of the other tanks. So when they started to go at him in yell chat about stopping to voke all the time, that was still fine. At least for the first five minutes.

They kept insulting him over and over again, calling him names, calling him bad, making fun of his name and laughing at him when he died. At this point, it wasn't funny anymore...just irritating. Finally, one of the voking tanks team members stepped up for him, saying that it was his first time in the instance and to please give the guy a break.

Well. I get it. Tanks should not blindly voke and at level 80, first time in an instance or not, this should be part of basic tank knowledge.

BUT! I don't think this is any reason to keep on insulting the dude. Telling him once, maybe twice, maybe three times to stop...totally okay. But they clearly took it too far and didn't even find any end to this.

It was...really cringy to read, too. Like, those two dudes, telling each other how much better they were than the rest, basically rubbing each others tiny epeens. So I also spoke up, followed by some other alliance members, who didn't approve of the blatant harassment.

And after multiple people asked them to finally stop the bullying, this is what one of the 'cool strong tankdudes' told us:

Basically, the motto of every bully ever. Sometimes I just can't with people...

So this just happened. A wipe to the King Behemoth in Labyrinth of the Ancients.

Everyone who had the meteors put them in his hitbox, causing most of the raid to die. We couldn't salvage the attempt because too many people were dead.

We cleared it the second attempt after people said not to put the meteors in his hitbox.

I'm not even mad about it, I just thought it was hilarious.
