I meant to ask this earlier, but who is Quinn?

I dunno, I just googled him and read his tweets. Some streamer who doesn't like FFXIV.

The game is slow and clunky if you are going to like compare it to those games where everyone is basically a ninja flipping around and sliding everywhere. So yes, I agree there. Character customization is a concern yes. I'm not sure about the whole lore thing as the Final Fantasy series in general is loaded with it. I think what FFXIV really has going for it is a dedicated development team that listens. That's really what the hype is all about as the players basically get what they want and the game is incrementally improved over time. It's a lot better than it was and keeps getting better. Games typically hit their golden age and then become a cash cow. FFXIV isn't milking yet. I think the golden age is now. Best enjoy it. Sad he doesn't want to be a part of it. The way I see it, most MMOs typically are what they are. FFXIV is working towards what it should be.
