I look forward to seeing him complain about the Flash update and 20% nerfs after he just dropped FF4 for being too easy lol
Happens on a regular basis, ironically enough. I'm just stating that rampant cancel culture can and does render the proverb "no such thing as bad press" completely and utterly moot. But if you want to use PewDiePie as an example then yes he did get canceled. He lost his YouTube Red series as a result of the antisemitic comments he made and the publicity this got therein. So evidence to the contrary.
Thanks for giving me an example though to completely prove my point. LOL

The most normal take to have. But I've learn it is a very small part of the community that has some weird issue that someone who does not like the game, or plays in a certain way. They throw hissy fits, or attack the person. Asmon just said something that is common sense. Who cares if the guy bashes the game?
I got a laugh..and cringe watching him play. and that was enough for me. He can say the game has nothing but wife beaters in it, and I would not care and just laugh.
He's still most popular person on youtube though raking in over tens of millions a yearHappens on a regular basis, ironically enough. I'm not sure you're even reading. The proverb "No such thing as bad publicity" wrests on the simple fact of the matter that what you say or do is without consequence. Traditionally people would say or do what they want, sure it would get a bad rep, but it was otherwise inconsequential to everything else. However, cancel culture and how rampant it is now has led to bad publicity now coming with its own set of consequences.
Whether he still is or isn't the most prominent streamer in the world is irrelevant. The fact remains that he was cut from his YouTube red program as a result of his antisemitic comments. This is by definition cancel culture.
It's a very difficult feat to put people in a position where they withdraw personal support from a person. Professional support is however an entirely different issue. Streamers and YouTubers have lost brand deals and shows with partners from the publicity they've received. Hence why the proverb no longer applies.

He didnt even play the game, he was lvl 18 then boosted story and a job. Complained about everything. People are entitled to say what they want about how a streamer handled it, remember they are the saving grace to this game (and others) so they should be held accountable for actions. If he said that the game wasnt for him thats fine, but to blame everyone else in the party is beyond silly. Talking about the story when you know nothing about it again silly. No one has weird issues, people just dont want others getting away with misinformation.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-4yQ5HkA0E

No, buy you see, the millionaire guy lost one contract that didn't impact him at all in the long run while continuing to make millions through other venues.
Can we get a pleb "GOTTEM!" in chat?
That's Asmon's choice- streamers can do what they want to do, and they're a very tribalistic group that can't handle criticism. They love saying that streamers are all entitled to say what they want to say and constantly critique everything from devs to the game to the community (which they absolutely are entitled to)- but they clearly think they're above equal criticism themselves (which is utter nonsense).
Asmon himself said recently that when people say things to try to piss him off, he's not pissed off about what they've said, he gets pissed off that they're deliberately trying to piss him off.
Quin deliberately tries to piss people off and Asmon suddenly thinks it's perfectly fine- it's a rules for thee, not for me moment.
Let me ask you directly- if someone in your raid is constantly failing at mechanics, and rather than trying to learn or realize their mistakes is just blaming everyone else in the group- are you going to heap praises upon them too?
