Don't think it necessary to "attack" the guy but show off what happens when someone joins the game for wrong reasons, just to get clicks and then boost 2 jobs with no prior research and expect everyone to carry you and then get mad when you die cause you die to basic mechanics.

I find the ego thing funny myself, He has a decent following from his wow and Path of exiles stuff. So he is not super unknown random streamer. But not asmon levels for sure. But I linked it because I got a good chuckle out of him playing Sam. Nothing more or less. And thought I would share.

Or maybe it is just a link to say look at how silly he is. Get a good laugh and not attack the guy. I mean you can talk bad about him and all that. When I say attack, I mean not flood his twitter and start flaming the guy. Myself, I enjoyed watching him and laughed.


This community has a problem with taking things too personal when it comes to this game.

I certainly get annoyed when someone tries to create an opinion criticizing something when they have no clue what exactly that entails as a result, especially when you're in the position of influencing a fairly large audience. Regardless of what that opinion is in the first place. It's quite a common thing to do. If he doesn't want to get attacked then he should stop trying to deflect his own mistakes onto the game, or those he's playing with.

I'm guessing he known in those circles then. Asmon is primarly a wow streamer but he do a lot of other stuff to make him known by many people who isn't wow players, even if it's mostly reaction videos on youtube.

Why does it matter? Remember when LazyPeon dumped on this MMO after barely trying it then hyped up Ashes of Creation? Someohow LazyPeon became a respected voice because you know New Zealand accent and nice editing makes your opinions valuable.

The issue with that is he got hundreds of thousands of views on that video by a large amount of the Sprouts who are trying this MMO right now realizing he was full of crap. That is why FF14 players need to go more on the offensive.

Quin did not "simply quit" and move. No he went out of his way to use his platform on Twitter to trash the MMO then lie and say he gave it his best shot. That Twitter feed is basically him getting ratiod by people who play WoW, FF14 and every other game other there calling him out for lying.

Trust me this guy deserves everything he gets and made the choice to trash his reputation like this. Quin is acting how people thought Asmongold would act who do not know him.

I really couldn't care less about the dude. I don't watch XIV streamers. It's not the most fun game to watch someone else play. And even if I did watch it certainly wouldn't be an e-celeb that acts plastic on screen but a person who actually acts like themselves with probably way less viewers.

What bothers me is how comically defensive the XIV fanbase gets if anyone dares voice dislike about it. If he's a literal who, why do you even care? Don't you have any serious problems in your life to care about?
SE doesn't need your help. The game is fine. And it's growing. Angry streamers aren't going to change that. And twitter is for anyone, even people who don't share your opinions.

Have you seen his own tweets? I'm not partaking into this socialmedia warfare, just not my thing. I do watch it tho.
But oh boy does he seem to go out of his way to provoke everyone. He puddles the whole FFXIV, anime, japan, "weeb" culture into one pot and attacks. He is hardly the victim.

Again lazy had a right to feel that way, and if people want to listen to him instead of giving it a shot. That is a lost for them. If the game is good like it is. It will build up without people attacking these people. In fact, I think how people act at times turn people away more than these two people, with how upset and offended they get because someone thinks the game is trash.


I don't know, I just don't understand this side of the community.
