Hard disagree. I think that being able to pay into a lottery and then get your gil back if you lose is infintiely better than competing against click bots for random timers.

Yes, rng is rng and it can suck, but on the other hand, it's more fair than the clickbot situation we have now, and less time consuming if you want to be doing other things in the game beyond standing next to a placard waiting.

They are replacing one bad system with another bad system. Two wrongs don't make a right, and neither are beneficial to the player base. Anyone who thinks a lottery is better is naive.

It's not a perfect system, but both systems having flaws doesn't mean they're equally bad.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that then. I think being able to pay into a lottery and then go about your day is a huge improvement over having to stand around waiting for a random timer competing against people with click bots.

It's not perfect. It's not going to solve the massive shortage of housing plots. A lottery system does not mean the housing issues are fixed and they don't need to ever do anything else. But I'd take a lottery system any day over the click bots requiring your character to stand at a placard for hours on end.

You people seem to forget something. They're not replacing one system with another, they're running both systems. You get housing wards that keep the current "first come first serve" system and then you get housing wards that have the lottery system.

The lottery definitely respects your time better than a stupid placard spam system.
Unless of course you're a bot user, and definitely don't want to lose the advantage you currently have.

I agree. I can't get note 44 or 45 to drop for me lets hope housing isn't the same. Yeah right. Nothing like letting rng be your guide. Glad I own housing and don't have to deal with this can of worms that is about to hit the scene.

Yeah same, i'm just afraid I will not able to relocate to Ishgard now but maybe current house owners can go around the rng but that's wishful thinking at this point.

I'm so glad they added RNG. Like I saw a house on sell and like a ton of people was just standing around clicking it over and over. Husband told me about how the system worked and I LOL so hard. At least it being random, I don't got to waste my time. Or do like some of these people do. Use a bot.
